When it comes to winter fragrances, we pay attention to scent trends, but we always stick to the notes we know and love….until now. A Scentbird subscription lets you explore scents before committing to the long haul. So, bring on the new, now, and different. Cozy, luxurious, and warm notes are our favorite notes for November, and the whole season as well.
Oud
Opulent, addictive, and exclusive, our oud fascination continues this fall/winter. Characterized by a strong smoked woody scent, oud is quite masculine and works great for those days you need an extra boost of empowerment.

Midnight Oud by Juliette Has A Gun is a study in balance, with a romantic rose note, Another Oud – by the same perfumer -flirts with a combination of oud and raspberry. Lovers of wood spiced with oriental notes will revel in Cuirs by Carner Barcelona. Daringly Different by Diana Vreeland is a perfume that commands a room, thanks to the aromatic trio of leather, rose, and oud.
Thanks to Saks Select, our exclusive partnership with the renowned Saks Fifth Avenue luxury department store, you can discover more amazing oud creations. May we suggest you start with INITIO PARFUMS PRIVES Oud for Greatness? Oh yes, we may. Get it here: https://www.scentbird.com/perfume/initio-parfums-prives-oud-for-greatness-2508
Blackberry
Although fruity accords are the norm come summer, there is something in the lingering tart yet honey-sweet aroma of crushed blackberries that makes it the perfect pick-me-up for fall.
Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs combines the best of two worlds berry-picking and forest-wandering through this decadent match. Vanille Blackberry by Comptoir Sud Pacifique places this fruity accord in the middle of the composition, where wild fruit berries are leading the march to exotic scent escapes. It’s just what the Universe orders on a day embellished with gray-hued skies. Signorina Misteriosa by Salvatore Ferragamo is the textbook example of sweet blackberry composition: the syrupy blackberry takes you straight to heaven, and then head-dives into a milk mousse, splattering its infectiously joyous scent all over your senses.
Tuberose
This brings us to Tuberose, an intoxicatingly fragrant flower packed with sweet and sensual undertones. Perfumes created around tuberose bloom with mystery on the skin. They tend to have a “stronger” scent profile, making them a bold pick for cold winter weather.

Tuberose note in Amouage’s Love Tuberose composition is sensual and raw, like a hungry kiss. Gucci’s Bloom Gocce di Fiori balances the potent floral aroma of tuberose with Rangoon creeper, while a touch of closed jasmine buds reigns supreme in this floral kingdom. The heart of Norell Elixir is a love fusion of white flowers: Indian tuberose, lush and seductive, combined with clean, clear, and intense notes of Egyptian jasmine and pimento, is a heart-winning, party-winning combination. Perfect for the upcoming holiday season.
