Definitely not like a lot of fragrances out there
My all-time favorite perfume is Opium by YSL. Not the new Black Opium (which is totally different), but the original. It's not a common scent these days. But this is very reminiscent of that type of fragrance.
I despise sweet, fruity or overly sweet florals. I like a fragrance to be rich, woody, herbal and almost masculine but with none of that "fresh" fake ocean scent.
Upon first spray, the leather and oud is very noticeable. As it dries down, I got more of the tonka bean (SO GOOD) and it sweetens ever so slightly to reveal the rose and iris when totally dry.
I am very selective about fragrance and I was nervous about ordering for the first time and not being familiar with this scent, but I love it. The title says it all.
