Omnia Paraiba by Bvlgari: The Original Scent of Brazil

Omnia Paraiba by Bvlgari

A masterpiece of olfactory integrity, Bvlgari Omnia Paraiba take on happy shining perfumes is simply amazing. A not so subtle shift from the mainstream Omnia collection, Paraiba is a breath of fresh, succulent fruity floral air.

A translucent and intricate bitter orange layered over the gleeful scent of summer in the city, a.k.a. passion fruit. With an injection of tropical floral notes, the Passion Flower and the Gardenia dance samba carefreely.

Alberto Morillas, the name behind the perfume, drew its inspiration from Paraiba Tourmaline, a semi-precious stone native in Brazil, known for its blue – green color.

It is an achingly beautiful rumba of colors and scents that speaks of love, and enjoying life. The haunting colors and the beliefs of the native Brazilian tribes of the Paraiba stone reference the jungle, the unspoiled nature and the gratitude we should all feel about the nature – are all captured in this fragrance.

It is Brazil served in bottle. The vetiver is dry and lovely, the cocoa pod is mysterious and I get a sense of soft bitterness in the drydown, but it is the exoticness and the yearning for our place under the sun that make this special fragrance, giving the needed quality to be a part of such noteworthy collection as Omnia.

When Alberto Morillas concocts a fragrance, you can be sure it will have an outstanding quality. So do not be afraid of the floral fruity description or the notes listed. Paraiba is so different from many other perfumes with fruity and floral notes that seem to monopolize the fragrant market.
