I think the major flaw in this is the prominent use of sage and pine. They are too acrid and "green" to be akin to actual tobacco fields. Tobacco is a beautiful, big-leafed, lusciously bushy plant. It's green and when hung to dry and brown, it's a sort of sweet and calming smell. Generically, I could describe it as "smoky", but I can definitely call it comfy. The quality is undeniable and I can fully appreciate the artistry behind it. It smells amazing, very refined and atmospheric, kind of like a classy, dry tobacco-wood blend. That said, while I think it’s a 4-star scent for me, I’m just not 100% sure it fits my personal style or what I’d reach for regularly. I respect it more than I fully connect with it.
