In partnership with Nosferatu and Focus Features, Heretic is proud to collaborate on a fragrance inspired by the iconic vampire. Cold, pale and pellucid, this fragrance evokes the uneasy chill of encountering an apparition. The fragrance opens with a clap of thunder and downpour of rain, strikes of lightning fill the air with petrichor and electricity. Tangled in the stones of the dark, wet heart chord you will find lilac in vivid a bouquet of cadaverous hues punctuated by inky violet absolute. This floral accord of ether conjures memories of forgotten innocence and love everlasting that give way to the peculiar delights of vegan Ambergris. Soft and velvety the ambergris dances on the skin in a nostalgic waltz that is both delicate and hedonistic.
Nosferatu is only in theaters this Christmas.

My opinion: conceptually, it's brilliant. Petrichor is an extremely rare note in perfumery, and here it's perfectly executed—it smells of a cold storm, damp stone, and withered lilacs, with a dark, resinous undertone that adds depth. It's delicate yet haunting, unisex, and one of those perfumes that no one else will be wearing. But be warned: **it's** not a traditional "rich" perfume, nor is it for everyday wear. It's cold, earthy, and atmospheric—more suited to evenings and cooler weather, and for those who appreciate gothic and artistic styles. If you're looking to impress on any occasion, this isn't it. If you want a collector's item with character, then it's definitely worth it—plus, it's a limited edition.10
