Tonka beans are tiny, shriveled, black seeds from the Tonka tree found in Central and South America. Their slightly sweet, vanillic, and smoky hay scent adds a spicy, gourmand edge to a fragrance. Tonka beans work best in spicy and sweet scents featuring similar notes: clove, vanilla, heliotrope, bitter almonds, labdanum, cinnamon, etc. Their vanilla and hay-like scent is ideal for fall or winter, but usually blends well enough to wear any time you need a little sweet, warm spice to liven up the citrus or wood notes in a fragrance.

One spray is all you need
It's very strong, smoky vanilla. I don't smell much other than smoky vanilla. I personally like it. it's a nice date night fragrance.

Bold and Beautiful
Another Commodity favorite. It lives up to its name. A warm fragrance that is as comforting as it is intoxicating. Somehow sexy and demure, masculine and feminine, spicy and sweet all at once. It stays on the skin for hours, starting out a warm and creamy amber then drying down to a sultry, smoky wood scent. I get so many compliments and my husband can't stop breathing me in. I absolutely recommend this.
