Tonka beans are tiny, shriveled, black seeds from the Tonka tree found in Central and South America. Their slightly sweet, vanillic, and smoky hay scent adds a spicy, gourmand edge to a fragrance. Just received this scent. When I first smelled this fragrance in the bottle I thought it was not for me. However, as soon as it made contact with my skin I fell in love. Lots of the reviews for this scent called it a simple vanilla fragrance. I do NOT agree. You can definitely smell the vanilla and amber but they are mixed beautifully with Juniper and a clean yet complex undertone. It reminds me of Light Blue with the addition of a sweet vanilla. As soon as I entered my daughter's room she said, "wow you smell good". I asked my husband's opinion and he immediately said, "oooh yeah, I like this one." That's all I needed to hear. I may be purchasing the full size of this one. Thank you scentbird.

I didn't like it. Smells like vanilla and the smell doesn't last on me. I am glad is just a sample and not a full bottle. This is why I like Scentbird, no need to commit to a full size.
