This month’s perfume and cologne come from our Sanctuary collection—direct from the rainforests of Africa and crystal-clear tropical waters. Each scent is built around an endangered species’ habitat, with proceeds going to support conservation. (In other words, there are no wrong choices here). Just pick your October escape: bright, aquatic notes, or deep forest earthiness.
Sanctuary Green Sea Turtle
Green Sea Turtle opens with a burst of watery pear that perfectly captures the clean, cool feeling of submersion in water. Next, bergamot sparkles like sunshine on the waves and pink freesia makes an appearance, as delicate as the coral polyps below the surface. Unexpected notes of coastal seagrass and smooth, sun-bleached driftwood slowly but surely move this story back to shore.
Sanctuary African Forest Elephant
Earthy and lush, the masculine African Forest Elephant scent finds inspiration in the rainforest. The opening is living, breathing green, in the form of sage. Then there’s amberwood, rich and golden, like sunlight filtering through the forest canopy in the middle of the day. The musk at the base holds a hint of moss-covered logs and those secret paths that only the elephants know. Olibanum adds ancient, resinous sweetness and cocoa bean gives a smooth, dark and grounding finish.
