Morning After Valentine’s Day2 min read
On the morning after, on the crumpled bed sheet, Love is in the Air…or is that perfume?
Candy hearts, cards and teddy bears, all the things you wanted from your valentine when you were younger. I personally to this day don’t mind receiving some candy and flowers even if it does seem cliche to some.
And while post-Valentine’s day is day for counting your hearts and blessings, there is one thing I love giving my man as his personally best Valentine’s day gift:
instead of an actual bouquet of flowers, a bouquet on my neck!
Yes, the key is to smell like love. My personal go to fragrances of love are below and when and why I like to wear them, when the Valentine’s Day craze subsides.
Chloe Eau De Parfum by Chloe; this is a romantic fragrance that seems to last all day on my skin. I will always go to this fragrance but especially when I am searching for something timeless. This is perfect for any occasion. However I find it to be refreshing and very feminine.
Notes: peony, lychee, freesia, rose, magnolia, muguet, amber and cedar.
Bright Crystal Absolu by Versace: this fragrance is playful, fun and fruity. A great pick for a day date or casual group outing
Notes: Yuzu, pomegranate ,raspberry, peony, magnolia, lotus flower, amber, deep acajou wood, bright musk
Vanille Abricot by Comptoir Sud Pacifique: this fragrance is a “get close to me and snuggle” fragrance, it’s sweet, syrupy and warm. Perfect for a snuggle and movie date on the couch.
Notes: Jackfruit, papaya, apricot, sugar and vanilla.
Notes: Neroli leaf, papaya blossom, white amaryllis, narcissus, water lily, cashmeran, musk
A perfume is a declaration of love… Say it like you mean it, with one simple word: Scentbird. The place where you will find close to 500 fragrances, all of which speak to yours, and hopefully someone else’s heart.
