Luxurious, and sustainably sourced ingredients are at a premium. Skincare and makeup brands have worked to incorporate “clean” ingredients for several years, and now fragrance brands are embracing the movement. Below, we’ve rounded up some of the perfumery houses exploring new territory with scent – all available on site!

Citadelle by Raw Spirit Fragrances

Inspired by Citadelle Laferrière, a fortress in northern Haiti, this fragrance pays tribute to the unyielding spirit of the Haitian people. Blending vetiver, citrus and aromatic woody notes, Citadelle is one-of-a-kind.

Raw Spirit works closely with indigenous communities to source rare natural ingredients for their fragrances, and also employs a sustainable manufacturing approach throughout.

Glass Blooms by Regime des Fleurs

This Scentbird reviewer says it best: This is glorious! It’s delicate and soft, exquisitely balanced between airy floral and musk. The rose, peony, and ylang-ylang mingle into something quite delicious—-a flower not yet found, alien and sweet but never overpowering.

The musk develops with the tonka and ambrette into a hazy veil. It’s absolutely arresting and still very subtle,” Briony wrote in July.

Regime des Fleurs’ compositions are made using natural botanical extractions.

Selva Do Brazil by Berdoues

Bottling up an entire rainforest is a tall order, but the petitgrain, guaiac wood and tonka bean in Selva Do Brazil come dangerously close to achieving that goal.

Berdoues fragrance lines are made using natural essential oils sourced from around the world.

The Cape by Abbott NYC

A captivating unisex fragrance, The Cape combines ginger with oakmoss for a burst of freshness that settles over sandalwood and patchouli. It reminds us of salty ocean air at night.

Launched in 2016, it’s easy to see (or smell) why we believe it is destined to be  a contemporary classic.

All Abbott NYC scents are phthalate free, paraben free and cruelty-free. Each ingredient is selected for  its quality, safety and limited environmental impact.

Eau Moderne by Thirdman

THIRDMAN Eau ModerneEau Moderne disproves the theory that fragrances made from natural citrus essences disappear quickly—this one lasts all day. Lime and bergamot brighten up the powdery unison of iris, neroli and galbanum, while the woody notes stay quietly in the background.

Third Man employs a minimalist blending technique, using the purest natural essences in each fragrance.
