A little heavy at first but fades to a great green gardenia scent
Florence is mostly a gardenia scent, but not a heavy 'gardenia perfumy' scent. It actually smells like fresh gardenias, which is hard to find in a perfume. The tuberose is well balanced and isn't too aggressive. I love this scent from about 30 minutes in till it fades after about 6-7 hours. The first 30 minutes, however, are a little overpowering; the pear and musk notes combine to become pretty dank. I like the pear, and I think the musk levels out nicely, but it's hard to see why the musk note is so strong at first when it pretty much goes away by the 1.5-hour mark, leaving a nice fresh green gardenia scent that to me smells like rain on flowers. Overall I like the scent, but would tweak the opening a bit.
