Different than anything I’ve ever smelled, but elegant at the same time! My husband loved it! It last a long time and I have had several compliments! I went to order a bottle and found it to be $220 a bottle, no way I can afford it unfortunately.

Definitely not a favorite. Theres an overwhelming smell, almost like a burning plastic. Smells chemically, with a hint of sweet. This actually burned my eyes and nose when first applying it. Not one i will try again.

A very strange and unusual smell.

The best perfume I’ve gotten. So many compliments— lasts ALL DAY (like, on a work day. When I’m sweating and chasing 11 year olds). I AM OBSESSED.

Church incense vibe
I was scared for the initial hour of wearing this fragrance. I’m new to exploring scents, and I generally like citrus, so I’m guessing it’s the saffron that isn’t appealing. HOWEVER. After an hour or so of wear on my clothes, this settles into a beautifully balanced warm, woody, old Florentine church incense vibe, but more fresh and alive than the real thing. I got five separate compliments in one day from three women who wanted it for themselves, one woman who wanted it for her husband, and a man walking by my desk who liked it so much he “had to get to the bottom of what it was” (I hate the idea of gendering fragrance, but this may give context to others). I use three sprays and dang, does it last. The silage for a few hours after application demands attention, and in the second part of the day is more intimate to those close. Not for the faint of heart. I was looking for something bold and unique for the fall and winter, and I’ve found it!

Not traditionally "girly" but still beautiful
There are a lot of floral notes in this fragrance, but I would say that they soften the overall blend and make it generally more wearable. This is not a floral fragrance, by any stretch of the imagination. This is a woody fragrance that you would typically expect to be marketed to men. This is lots of . . . . . pine? birch? Wood. Let's just stick with wood. You almost get a pencil shaving vibe from the initial blast of the fragrance into the mid of it. However, there's an underlying sweetness and richness that make this very easy for a woman to pull off, and pull this firmly back into unisex territory. That said, this is one that is bold, that is going to wear a LONG time, and that you're going to have to wear with the utmost confidence. It is a gutsy fragrance that is quite unapologetic about being woodsy, about being somewhat camphorous, about being resinous or anything else that it is. I think that it is beautiful. I would love this for fall - it's a fragrance that would be perfect for sitting over a firepit sipping mulled wine, or cider, with friends.

Saffron bomb
This opened like a mix of saffron and wet cardboard—and went downhill from there. I was really disappointed because I've heard it compared to MFK's Baccarat Rouge 540. If you're looking for something similar to that cult classic, look elsewhere, because this is definitely not it. The birch note, when it appears, is overwhelmingly wet, almost fungoid smelling, and it battles with the saffron blast. There is a slight undercurrent of smoke, perhaps from the ylang ylang, but none of that flower's mellow butteriness to offset the sharp wood and saffron. Since I have odd skin chemistry, I also tested this on an index card and a linen scarf. On the card, there is a more prominent orange on opening, but the saffron remained overwhelming, as did the woods, although they didn't smell as wet and cardboard-like on paper (odd, I know). On linen, it was straight-up saffron with a definite sandalwood vibe once the scent settled in. This is listed on Scentbird as a female fragrance, but TT lists it as unisex. I would definitely classify this as a masculine fragrance, which isn't generally a negative for me, because I love Oddity, El Born, Cuirs, and the Architects Club, all of which lean masculine. This has no soft edges; to me, it's very jagged, if a fragrance can be jagged. I give this 4/10 sillage, 6/10 longevity, and 0/10 "wow factor." Hard pass.

Rich and smooth, I love many of the notes here, and they all blend together well, I just don't enjoy it much on me. The leather, saffron and iris are beautiful stars, but the amber is a little heavy, and the birch tar pushes it from being something I can wear in a special mood, to something I want to swap. I feel like it might be pleasant on the right man (or person who is masculine-presenting). My husband said he honestly doesn't like it though, so I can't test that theory. I give it only 2 stars, since the amber and birch tar make it harsh really, and it feels like it could be different in a way that could make it very nice.

Absolutely Stunning
Top notes are lily, jasmine, saffron and orange; middle notes are ylang-ylang, magnolia, ambergris and lily-of-the-valley; base notes are precious woods, sandalwood, birch, musk, leather and oakmoss. Complex,Rich, Elegant and I liken it to MFK BR540 as the closest fragrance to it but in Reality there is NOTHING like it. This is very personal taste specific so be forewarned this is not for the niche fragrance lover whatsoever Sillage 8 Longevity 9
