My grandma has the OG Strawberry Shortcake dolls so I can say with certainty, this perfume smells NOTHING like them. :( Oh man does this stuff smell awful. Sickly sweet, makes me nauseous. I think it smells exactly like strawberry tic tacs taste, which is, in my opinion, atrocious. I also agree with reviewers saying this smells like Bath and Body Works' strawberry pound cake (except it's worse).

This smells EXACTLY like “strawberry pound cake” from Bath & Body Works… It’s not a bad smell at all but the only reason I even purchased this was because I thought it would smell like the dolls :( Which it doesn’t, unfortunately.

I’ve never been so confused upon spraying a fragrance. I sprayed this on paper and got super juicy synthetic strawberry, whipped cream, sugar cookie crumbs. Not necessarily what I want to smell like, but sweet and fun enough to try it anyway. The second I sprayed it on my skin it smelled strongly of freeze dried strawberries, and mildly of stinky feet and nothing else. As it sits I get more of the laconic notes, a little bit of a ‘doll’s head’ smell, the freeze dried strawberry remains, and the feet smell gets even footier. This is just so sour and weird on my skin and it doesn’t go with all of the super sweet, fruity, creamy notes that are supposed to be happening at all. I’m glad I only got a small bottle of this. It smells super fun off of skin so I’ll use it as a linen spray until it’s gone.
