It's not for me.
I will say this is not a bad smell... but did not align with my scent preferences. Reminded me of my grandmas perfume which killed any chance of me liking this. This was all must and not enough other to balance this out. Overall just smells like a more mature scent and I am planning on giving to my mom.
I did not like this scent at all!
The description sounded better than the actual smell. It wasn’t terrible, just not what I was wanting
I didn't really like the smell but it wasn't bad.
V. Happy with this selection
Soft vanilla dry down — beautiful without being too sweet.
Very deep and rich scent
Perfect for fall
Found this smell after long time which I am in love with definitely recommend
I love this scent!
This scent is GREAT! Clean, fresh, and smells like MONEY!
Can be overpowering and I wasn’t in love with the scent which is a first.
Not my favorite
More old school perfume than I prefer
Reminds me of something I can’t put my finger on...
I like these notes usually but this smells JUST like something in my Great-Grandmothers bathroom. No joke. Avon something maybe? Strong, seems like it would last all day. I usually like “Old lady” scents but this is too much for me.
I did not like it at all
I would not recommend this i was not pleased with this at all
not pleased at all too strong not my scent
Loved this one
I could wear this one everyday and not tire of it. I love this one.
I’ve had a lot of Amber scents but this one by far is my favorite 🥰
Is quite spicy at first but after it dries down it mellows out to a sophisticated smell I quite like it
I’ve always loved Amber type scents...and I’ve received a ton of compliments While wearing this!
Not for me
It’s not for me very strong out of the gate I liked the dry down but. Going to give this one away.
A Nice Amber
Molinard has created a rather nice amber perfume with Ambre, what sets it apart, at first anyway, are top notes of lavender, lemon, geranium, and a green note that I assume is thyme. These top notes convey to me a classic masculine aftershave and give Ambre a certain brightness. After some time though the aftershave notes settle down and you get a more traditional vanilla-labdanum-patchouli accord. The drydown is a proper, "safe" amber. I quite like it but I do have other amber perfumes so I don't know if I need a full bottle, of course, I want a full bottle but that is a whole different story. *cough*perfumeaddict*cough**cough*
This is a great amber fragrance, ill definitely be looking for a bottle and more from this line.
Smells too strong
reminds me of old lady perfume
not a good smell on me
The scent was overwhelming. This oozes more mature scents that don't suit me personally.
Oh my goodness i just love the smell i put a spray on my arm and i keep smelling it love love love it
I just love the small
It was insanely strong.
Yummy when it fades smells like my skin but amplified
35 to 44
Smells soapy - kind of old-fashioned but not in a mature, sexy way. Not for me
25 to 34
Mysterious incense to love and indulge with.
Smokey and sweet
Very pretty scent. Long lasting but not overpowering. The musk, vanilla and incense are very the strongest notes, but the geranium also shines through. There’s enough clove that it’s subtle and not too in your face. The perfume fades to a slightly musky vanilla scent with a hint of the incense as well. Definitely a nice date night scent or just a night out in general. It’s sweet and flirty at the same time. Definitely happy with this perfume.
I absolutely LOVE Molinard Amber. It lasts all day. Ivan only describe it as a warm, spicy, powdery, Orietal perfume. Excellent for Autumn/Winter. I am definitely going to purchase a large bottle of it. I recommend it for the truly adventurous, confident woman who isn’t afraid of a strong, sexy scent.
My new favorite scent.
It can’t be understated how STRONG this is. A little goes a long way, which I actually like. One spritz will last all day long. It’s such a unique, spicy, exotic scent unlike anything I’ve ever tried, and I love the way it unfolds over the day. The incense is probably my favorite part. It’s a truly unisex scent and perfect for a night out.
Not for Me
I thought from the descriptions that I would love this scent. I couldn’t have been more wrong. It is so over powering it made me full ill. I wish I could return it. One spray was enough.
I didn’t choose this scent so I’m not sure why it was sent to me but the second I smelled it I was in LOVE! It is absolutely beautiful! I love it SO much I am very tempted to never wear anything but this ! It’s soft yet bold . I’m not sure if we can name drop perfumes but it reminds me of a very popular perfume !
It has staying power...and that isn't a good thing.....
This scent just did not work with my body chemistry at all. In the bottle it was okay but I kind of knew it might go south once I put it on, but of course I gave it a go (It is heavy like a mans cologne). Well I was right...it was very very strong, so if you like it a little will go a long way, but it kind of ended up smelling like Raid bug spray or maybe dollar store oven cleaner once it meshed with my skin. One good thing though, if you like it, it sure has legs because I could not wash it off for the life of me and it was so bad I couldn't stand to wear it all day. Luckily my niece likes scents that are strong like this and they work on her, so it was a nice random gift for her.
Molinard Ambre - Thumbs Down
Do not like this at all!! Bad scent!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!
This is a deep romantic, yet sexy fragrance. A must try.
not bad but not for me
This wasn't the scent for me. It wasn't unpleasant but it felt dated and more of what I remember my great aunts wearing. It lasted for a while too. Definitely a strong scent but not what I'm looking for.
Great at first
I love the scent for the first hour or so, but then it smells like dusting powder. I am a huge fan of patchouli and will try any partum that has it. I was rather disappointed in this one though.
It’s way toooo strong and smells awful
Smells like the perfume my Sunday school teacher would wear. I wore to work an it offended the noses of my coworkers and now they refuse to sit by me if i wear this perfume. Very strong scent that lasts for hours.
This fragrance did not disappoint. It's a refined floral with warm and musky notes that lingers through the day. It's unique and very chic and masks me think of Europe.
Very strong scent that stayed with me all day. It has a spicy vanilla and musk smell to it. Not something I would wear often, but still like on certain occasions.
i REALLY LIKE THE SENT BUT IT JUST DOESN'T STAY WITH ME. A TOTAL OF A HALF HOUR AND THAT'S IT. ALL IN ALL THE SMELL IS WONDERFUL, I JUST WISH IT STAYED SMELLING A LOT LONGER. YOUR MAILING IS TERRIFIC, RIGHT ON TIME. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO. MARLENE WREISNER
This one isn’t horrible. It’s one of the ones I can tolerate but it definitely isn’t my favorite. I probably wouldn’t purchase. But i’ll use it up. It smells slightly sweet but dark...maybe a little sexy.
I did not enjoy this scent, it is pleasant but reminded me of my grandmother. Not really appropriate for mid 30’s.
It's a really good scent if you really love dark earthy scents. I mean, like really love them. It was too strong for me
Did not smell good on me at all. I smelled like an old lady!
Tired of all the old lady remarks. Get an imagination for pete sake.
Loved this scent. Was spicy and musky, I've been looking for a scent close to the original Guess and this is the closest I've come. Loved it and it didn't smell like my grandmother.
This is a very spicy, earthy scent. It's strong, so you don't need more than a spritz in the air and walk through it. When I say strong, I mean STRONG. Reminds me a bit of Old Spice, but more ladylike.
Literally the worst smelling perfume for anyone under the age of 85. Not only did it REEK, it didn't go away. You can smell like a nursing home without air conditioning on a warm summer's day or you could just go with almost any other perfume. This was the first time I was ever disappointed by a perfume from Scentbird!
Well said Cheri, I like to say maybe it's the canvas and not the medium. I also do not understand the " old lady "comments. I figure it's got to be the selfie obsessed who think conversation is done with your fingertips and no eye contact.
Working out type of scent? I don't think so. That's silly. Some of the oldest perfumes are best sellers among all ages. (Chanel and Guerlain are two companies). Once you interact with the scent community more often, you'll learn that scent is a personal thing and not related to age. You may not like this scent but it might work well on another person your age. I wore my grandmother's YSL Opium at age 16. I got many compliments. Stick to the facts.
I thought I'd try this one because of the vanilla and musk. Did not care for this - to me it's "older lady" smell. I tried to wear it a couple times and my kids ask...why do you smell like a grandma? LOL!
It is very spicy which I love. Kinda masculine and feminine at the same time which I think is sexy. I love all the undertones.
I like this scent but it reminds me of my grandmother. You can totally smell the amber. It also smells slightly spicy and vanilla-y
Lubin Kismet was an amber scent created in the early 1900's. It's still modern and timeless, and one of the first mainstream ambers, along with Shalimar. In fact, amber scents go much further back, in the form of spice and incense, plus aged tree resins. It has a dignified history.
I love this fragrance! It's a bit strong so be careful how much you apply. Lasts forever on me. While I rate this 5 stars, I suspect my cat thinks otherwise. She won't go near me when I wear this fragrance for some reason.
Little old lady ish, but I love it.. Goes well with my chemistry..
