Emerald-bright freesia and expressive lotus flower float over a cool, dark heart of night-blooming jasmine and regal tuberose. The sumptuous honey note deepens the sweet floral mystery and prepares the senses for the full embrace of the Bourbon vanilla base.

Featured notes

Freesia is one of the big floral notes in perfume, along with gardenia, tuberose, and jasmine.  What sets freesia apart from the spicy, powdery, and buttery accents in major white floral perfumes is its plump, delicious, sweetness.  Freesia has a young, fun, and sensual candy-like texture, and the best freesia perfumes can even resemble a light red wine. Freesia is also one of the softer big floral notes, making it ideal as an introduction to more powerful, forceful florals. Freesia’s flirtatious and casual appeal is best for summer and spring, and makes an equally fashionable day or night option in floral perfume.
Fragrance family
White floral
White flowers fascinate us because of the duality of their nature. Fragrances in this family run the gamut from orange blossom and lily of the valley that radiate lush freshness, to jasmine, tuberose, and gardenia that stun with opulent sensuality.

About the brand
Explore Issey Miyake
Issey Miyake is a Japanese fashion designer known for his innovations with fabric and his use of technology to produce interesting and practical garments.

Miyake's fashions and perfumes reflect a sense of humor and make use of multi-lingual puns. A-POC, for example, sounds like the English word "Epoch." When Miyake launched his first perfume, L'eau d'Issey for women in 1992, the name is a homonym for the French word l'Odyssée ("odyssey" in English). A Scent by Issey Miyake, launched in 2009, could be read as "ascent by Issey Miyake." Miyake also maintains a store in Japan called ELLTOB TEP ("pet bottle" spelled backwards) which sells his entire line.
