Inspired by annual themes at Hermès, this fragrance is an olfactory stroll, in situ creation, in the footsteps of the in-house perfumer. Jardin en Mediterranée is a narrative novel, a travel log that tells the spirit of a Mediterranean secret garden where trees and flowers - a mosaic of warm and soft scents - abound. A fragrance of light and shadow, enveloping and sensual.

Smells like chemicals. Very strong.
I was so excited to try this perfume bc it smells Devine on my best friend. However, what I received was NOT Hermes it was Donna Karan Cashmere Mist (puke!) I was not very happy... So I contacted customer support and they are supposed to remedy the issue by sending me the actual Hermes perfume I had in my que... I'm still waiting 😳
Absolutely love this! I'm usually not into woody scents, but the citrus tempers it just enough. Longevity isn't too bad; I go about 5-6 hours before needing to reapply, which is pretty good considering my skin usually eats up most perfumes by hour two. Perfect spring scent!
No strong enough. Scent doesn't last
Hands down my favorite summer scent. So fresh, perfect for being out and about.
A sophisticated citrus scent with sultry undertones. Very similar to the Le Labo perfume.
This perfume is not flowery or sweet, it has a pleasant smell reminiscent of the sea. I am enjoying this scent. If you want a scent that is like a breath of fresh air, then you will like this scent.
Light... aquatic... beautiful. Takes you to the sea, I smell the water, the greenery, maybe some salt. Nothing sweet here at all. Lasts fairly well. 4 stars due to the fact that I feel it could benefit from a touch of floral or a slightly sweet smell, but basically this is a perfect and serene scent. I love it!
I love this scent. It's so light and fresh while staying well-rounded. the initial hit is more fruity and complex and the finish is drier, like citrus and flowers in the hot sun! Definitely lives up to the name! I'm gonna have to find a full bottle, the little one will not last.
I like this perfume. It is very sophisticated without smelling "old ladyish." It is different from anything that I have smelled before. Very woodsy and spicy, almost masculine but still very nice and clean smelling.
This was my first pick from Scentbird. My initial spray was very sharp and woodsy which I didn't mind ....I love strong powerful scents. This scent however, didn't last as long as I expected. When I first sprayed I thought to myself "yes this will last forever" but unfortunately it didn't. It's not a bad perfume....it would have been nice if the scent lasted as long as the power of the first spray.
Like all of Hermes scents, this is elegant and beautiful. Soft, sexy, and natural smelling, not a synthetic note to be found. Slight cedar undertone. Not terribly long lasting but overall a lovely perfume.
was recently in a duty free, and had a chance to sniff the entire Hermes Un Jardin line. Oh how I love a good fig perfume, and this one is probably the best I have smelled. It has knocked my all time fig scent favorite off the pedestal. It's green and citrusy without being overly sharp. I only wish it had a longer lasting time - It runs about 5 hours on me. But I still need to buy the full size!
THIS IS FIG DONE WELL LOVE SMELLING THIS ON MYSELF ALL DAY CANT STOP SMELLING.
Generally I like it! The initial notes are like very sharp pine-y grass, the juniper I suppose, then it settles down into a pretty citrusy floral. Nice for summer.
Fell in love with this at first spray. I'm obsessed with fig and for the first few minutes that's all I could smell. Once it dried, the juniper and lemon revealed themselves and mixed so beautifully with the fig. This is an extremely fresh, clean scent, and as other reviewers have noted it does have a hint of "cleaner" smell to it - but I took a chance and ended up loving it! Only 4 stars because it doesn't last long on my skin. PS - If you like the fig but want something a bit sweeter, try Figuier & Osmanthus by L'Occitane (which is less woodsy and also much less expensive).
Not for every day use. This scent is definitely elegant and holds a punch. Please use it sparingly as it can be overwhelming at first yet it dries down to such a beautiful scent that can only be described as elegant. I only give it 3 stars as it is more of a very special occasion scent and did not use it more than twice the entire month.
So strong!!! Very very floral but also woodsy if you are into that. I love the gardenia in it. One of my favs.
Sophisticated and mysterious with the fig leaf shining through. I wasn't impressed with this at first, but it's growing on me.
Very fresh and beachy, great for late spring/summer. I only wish the scent lasted longer.
smells woodsy. reminds me of a library.
Love, love, love this scent! I am purchasing the full size bottle. The first and lasting impression I get from this scent is wet soil and rich fig leaf, more green and deep dark earth tones. This is more dominate than the fresh fig fruit towards the middle note, though the fruit is definitely there adding a hint of red fruit and citrus to this otherwise earthy scent. There is also a subtle saline crisp mineralty present which really adds to the the complexity of this truly beautiful and unique fragrance. I often see colors in my mind when smelling and wearing perfume and to me this is a wonderfully diverse palette of deep dark purples and rich browns swirling together with pale periwinkle and sky blue, green and orange also make an appearance, but are not the main players here. I highly recommend this fragrance to anyone that usually loves earthy and green scents, but wants something with more complexity than those scents often offer.
Loved it😍woody in a good way. Would buy.
fell in love with this scent!!
Its got an undertone that I'm not truly fond of. I'm more of a floral and spice type of gurl.
This smells like a cleaner to me. I really love floral fresh smells. But this really just smells like someone just used a cleaner on the floor, a good smelling cleaner but not one you'd want to wear on your person. the sur de nil smells great from hermes though ,very summery
Very strong in a musky kind of way
Really lovely scent, my favorite from the Jardin series as well. I really like the strong, watery fig note, I think it sets it apart from traditional sweet or floral feminine perfumes. It's a great summertime fragrance if you're looking for something a little different. Moderate longevity and silliage.
This is my favorite of the Jardin series, and one of my favorite everyday perfumes. Less citrus than Le Nil, less fruit than Le Toit, less spice than La Mousson, but very standout nonetheless. It smells like a very lovely abstract fig tree smell, the fruit and the leaves (a green geranium leaf note I suspect other reviewers didn't enjoy). Pair the tree smell with a light, elegant citrus perfume and the faint smell of fresh cut wood, and that is exactly what Un Jardin En Mediterranee smells like to me. I love it.
This perfume has a heavy woodsy cedar scent that I found really unpleasant. Not happy at all with this one.
Perfect scent for me. Very clean and subtle!
I love the way this smells, but the first time I wore it, I ended up getting an awful headache. I am hoping it was a coincidence because I absolutely love the memories it evokes of a beautiful day in Capri--it is just what I had been looking for.
Absolutely loved this. It's the perfect scent for summer getaways.
I was so wrong about this perfume. I did not like it from the initial spray to 1 hour later. It made me feel sick and I'm not super picky about my fragrances, but I wish I had my money back on this one. There's always next month!
I really didn't like this scent, I'm not even picky about scents
Love, love this perfume! So different from anything I ever used!
"This is my new favorite fragrance in life right now! It kind of reminds me of Mediterranean Fig by Pacifica but nicer. I love the smell of fig and this definitely has that note. It's the prefect scent for summer. It's not a heavy perfume, but light and airy."
"I think it's me and not the perfume but I get an initial blast of super greenery...and that's it. The juniper and cypress never fully unfold, and I never got any citrus either. I have this trouble with a lot of green perfumes, and I'm starting to think it's either my skin or my nose, since it seems improbable all green perfumes are terrible."
"This fragrance sounded delightful, but unfortunately it just didn't work on me. I love perfume and I'm not sensitive to strong scents, but this one gave me a headache. The cypress and juniper were way too strong on me, and ended up being heavy and cloying."
"I have smelled this scent before and it was nothing like I remembered. It was horrible from the jump. I sprayed it and thought maybe if I let it sit for an hour, it would be great. It gave me such a headache and it reminded me of sap from a leaf. I've been trying to exchange it and not a lot of co-operation from the site and I've been waiting 10 days for a response. I have 3people who joined with me and their scent was horrible too. Bad knockoff and customer service. We are dropping after our subscription."
"This was my first Scentbird perfume to try and I'm glad I did. I find that I'm really starting to love fig. It's an interesting note complimenting the other stereotypical summer fruits - lemon and bergamot. The juniper (one of my favorite notes ever) blends well with the fig, giving it something more intimate, to me.Overall, the scent is a perfect compliment to the lingering summer heat that's fallen on New York."
