Oakmoss is all about deep, musty, green, earth tones. It’s aroma is already in the name; you can picture dark green mosses climbing up the base of an old oak tree, with a spongy, rich, vital green scent wafting up from the forest floor. Oakmoss in perfume is a mainstay of men’s colognes, and its rich, moist, green fern-like scent pairs marvelously with other earthy notes like vetiver, leather, tobacco, and aromatic spice. Oakmoss is definitely more for the fall/winter seasons rather than spring or summer - it’s heavier texture isn’t suited for hot weather wear.

    Smells better than expected. Pretty mello, clean scent but with depth. It could be a little longer lasting but whatever. Smells amazing. Good job RF.

    This app needs a sillage rate feature
    The scent was okay. Apple was the most prominent note. My main complaints are that the sillage was so intimate that after 20 minutes, you could hardly smell it on yourself, as it starts to dry, it becomes sickly sweet, and with notes like oakmoss, I would expect a greener scent. Illicits the sense of dewy dawn until you step outside. Drydown included, it lasts maybe 9 hours, which is kinda pitiful for a parfum.
