Subtle, sweet elegance and swirling complexity is a must-have for amber fragrance lovers. Delicate apricot and ginger accents frame a top note of light clary sage, setting the stage for a decadent and dark ylang ylang and cistus absolute heart. Patchouli and vanilla add tempting, spicy nuances in the dry down.

As expected, this fragrance is warm, sexy, spicy, strong. Definitely a Fall or Winter fragrance. Its presence will not go unnoticed!
Spicy and substantial--I do tend to lean towards extreme scents...this is likely not for everyone but I love it, especially in cold weather months
Not for ME!!!
I didn't like it at ALL but my Mom Loves IT!!!
Car tree incense
Smells like the car tree that you hang from the mirror I like it it smelled very nostalgic and weird
This is a little spicy and I love it
kinda for both sexes
This one didn't smell good initially, but was a little better once it settled. Very sophisticated. This one smells like powdery old lady.
Smells of old lady, urine and baby powder, as the wife says.
This was is and will be a smile that rings up your phone contact list trust my word for the man who was a good woman use the in very small douses if u know what I an telling u air conditioning
Sophisticated and strong, I love the amber notes. Very warm. But warning to others, if you don't like strong perfumes this is not for you.
The smell was a lil strong for me, but got lots of complements
It was okay
It's just ok, didn't wow me at all! The first impression i had was that it did not smell good, after it settled for a few minutes it wasn't as bad...
Top favorite so far! Deep, sultry, sexy, mysterious and warm. Perfume perfection
It was very strong and smelled like an old lady
Far too heavy for me
I love this scent.
Strong, almost medicinal smell. There is nothing soft about it.
Strong, but I like it strong!
Oh god, this smells far too mature, and too strong and musky. My son even said, what IS that smell...and it wasnt a good thing.
Sultry closeness for a cold winter night
I love the scent very much. It's not overpowering, yet it lasts throughout the day and gives you that warm cozy sexy feeling day or night in the cold winter weather. It definitely is a winter scent. I'm very pleased with this one, DEFINITELY considering buying the full size bottle!!! I also think all ages of women will enjoy this fragrance. It's for the masses!!!!
Powder & Spice
I’m not a big fan of powdery scents, and the incense-like smell isn’t something I gravitate towards. Nevertheless, this is a beautiful scent if you like those things. There’s a hint of sweetness and spice which make this smell very comforting and warm. It’s a definite winter smell. I can see someone wrapped up in a white fluffy cardigan and tucked under a blanket hunkering down for a good read and a cuppa.

For mature or professional setting
It was ok. I like the slight incense smell would probably smell better on a man, did last awhile though.

I don't think that I've ever smelled anything quite like this. Upon first spray it was super strong and pungent (the olibanum I assume?) and I hated it. The dry down was more mellow, and settled into a woody sort of incense. I still don't know that I like it and had I bothered to learn that olibanum is frankincense I wouldn't have put it in my queue, but it skews masculine so I think I might make my husband try it to see if I like it better on him.
Nice and warm spicy scent
Received this cologne today, as my FIRST Scentbird order. The dispenser doesn’t work! What do I do now? The little that leaks out has a wonderful scent! Unfortunately, this pump dispenser is completely useless. Send out a NEW one, if you want a better rating.
I believe the reviews are more for customers and not staff. I'd recommend you use the "help" feature here on the site (bottom right corner) and submit a support ticket. the staff is usually very good about fixing any shipping or product issues as long as you let them know.

Very loud amber based scent
Even though I love most of the notes, this went on a nasty combination of gingered fruits that got right up my nose and almost hurt. It rapidly settled to a super-spiced vanilla incense with a marked resinous olibanum base, but retained the gingery fruits enough that it smelled very perfumey to me, it that makes sense; Perfume-y in a synthetic, forced combination of notes that represent something fashioned by force rather than combined to the benefit of the whole. Ultimate dry down had a lovely ice cream vanilla amber feel, but the ginger and other notes remained strong and ultimately I grew to hate it. Good side for those who like it: it absolutely WILL NOT DIE. It is powerful and pervasive and has amazing staying power. I couldn't kill it and I tried over and over, all day, for hours. What was left was a very close skin scent of powdery vanilla amber with bright, distinct lavender and ginger. I have given it to my sister, but I suspect it's too loud for her too. Two stars for longevity and the fact that it will work for others.
7 out of 5 / Gorgeous Amber and Incense
This is an absolute gorgeous amber and incense unisex winter gem. It's warm, inviting, sexy, and mysterious. This is not an overly sweet or vanilla-centric amber but it's not too dense and resinous. The frankincense hits you heavy up top and leaves a flowing trail of semi-sweet amber accords in its wake. Think Interlude Man by Amouage but draped in a warm liquid amber. An easy 7 out of 5.
Not my scent
So many compliments. Fresh, light, enticing
Simply Beautiful Amber
Ambre Nomade is a smooth take on the amber accord, it's rich and full-bodied with a rounded, polished feel. It falls somewhere between Ambre 114 by Histoires de Parfums and Kalimantan by Chantecaille but without all the raspy powder and sharpness. That isn't to say that Ambre Nomade isn't powdery, it is, but it's very smooth and velvety. All the classic elements that make a good amber are here but with a sticky twist, the apple and apricot blended with resins and florals add a yummy fruit compote flavor that I just love. There's a bit of a spicy kick in the opening too, a little bit of an eye-opener but nothing jarring or harsh. I'm seriously considering a full bottle of this!
stops the room when it is in the air
i received so many compliments, I really liked this scent.

Can we give a negative number?
The worst smelling fragrance I've gotten from Scentbird. Washed it off immediately.

So many compliments
This perfume is subtle and very long lasting. It has a grounded aroma that doesn’t smell fake or like you put on too much of something. I’m more of a musk, Amber sandlewood go to, this perfume did not disappoint. I received so many compliments on how it set with my body chemistry. Would definitely buy the full version of this.

This scent is very... heavy... thick? Not sure if that makes sense. Its a really rich dark scent. It isn't BAD, just not one I would recommend unless you like weighty, creamy scents.
45 to 54
Strong, dark and lightly sweet
I like this, but I don't get apricot at all. Lots of spice, patchouli, amber, burnt sugar, no apricot or any fruit to me. I probably won't order again. But I enjoy trying it. I think it's for sure a fall / winter scent, very strong and long lasting on me. I like it best about 2 hours in.

I loved this scent it smells amazing and I still have some left over

Yummy Amber scent
I loved this scent for the Amber notes and and how long it lasted. One spray on one wrist and I felt like it was just there all night. It’s definitely a winter or fall fragrance, or something where you want to be reminded of fireplaces and wine and the holidays. But it does have a sophisticated sense to it that I am not sure young people would enjoy unless they like Amber scent in the first place. It’s not an old lady scent, just very much meant for a woman and not a teenager. My husband loved it. I tried it on and got in bed and smelled it all night. It was comforting and relaxing and beautiful. Reminded me of winter nights.

Not my style
I did not like the combination, it smelled very pungent
Didn’t really like the smell it was a little too strong for me and smelled more like a men’s cologne

Wholey urine, batman!
First, this scent is very strong. On warm skin, it projects at least 10-12 feet. This would be fine if it didn't smell like concentrated urine. The patchouli is overwhelming, too. Overall, the blend is not harmonious. The combo of labdanum, normally a beautiful sweet resin, and the lavender, which is also pleasant note normally, combine with the patchouli to create a sour, dirty scent. The ginger is also powerful for the first hour and adds to the nose-penetrating power. The citrus and sage are non-existant due to the strength of the other notes. I would think a bit of sage might¹ balance the other notes. Saddest of all, the vanilla note is destroyed, even on drydown. I seriously feel I need a bath and I only sprayed once. Perhaps skin chemistry is an issue for me - It might work for you. Some types of patchouli are terrible on me. I was hoping for more incense, but the patchouli cancelled out any good. Meanwhile, I can't recommend this for anyone who wants a "polite" scent. I wonder if I was sent the correct scent. I've tried many amber fragrances and this was the first one I'd be afraid to wear anywhere. P.S. - I own many amber and resinous fragrances, niche and designer. I love looking on the LuckyScent website for inspiration!

Ambre Nomade MIA
Scentbird refuses to send me what I subscribed, paid for and ordered. Interesting how they get my money but give me nothing but excuses. I want what I ordered Scentbird. I'm not listening to any more of your stupid emails about "We're overloaded with emails but will be with you soon. thanks for your patience...." NOPE. Send me what I paid for, subscribed to and selected in trade for taking my money from PayPal.

Very wonderful and light. Last all day. My favorite for sure.

One of my new favorites
A little sweet, a little spicy. More of a casual scent that seems to work well with my body.
18 to 24
Very spicy amber scent. I didn't like this perfume when I first sprayed it because the musk notes were super strong but after it had settled on my skin and warmed up (about half an hour later) the amber and spice came out. I absolutely fell in love with this scent. Great for winter. Could be too strong for the office if you are sensitive or looking for a perfume you can reapply midday.

Too musky smelling
Smells too much like an old lady
I don’t really like the smell of It. But i could get used to It.
Well Crafted, but not for me
Ambre Nomade is everything it promises to be, so I feel bad giving it only 2 stars (I just want this bloody algorithm to actually work for me one day!). It's too sweet for my tastes, and just slightly more mature than I'd prefer (but please, not the dreaded 'old lady' insult people here like to tag on so many great fragrances! Sorry, I digress...) so I'm thinking of giving it to my mother-in-law-but I think even she might not be the type. What I am trying to say, (in this very rambling review) is that this is a loud scent (the ginger! The rosemary!), and you definitely have to be up for carrying it. The sillage is medium/strong (what my tropical roots tell me a perfume is supposed to be) and longevity is at least five hours. It stands up to the brand's quality and for once I'm not at all concerned that Scentbird sent me a dupe (or worse!). In summary: it's worth the price, I learned I don't like apricot in some interpretations, and that though personally I love how the sage shines through--I just think I would prefer it in a more fresh, maybe aquatic, rendition. I like the citrus layer, but not the powdery aspects. If you love layered perfumes that tell a story, give it a try before you buy. I did enjoy sniffing out the apple and understated lavender; not an office scent for sure, and maaaaybe unisex for the right man (IMO).
I hope the algorithm starts w
Sorry about the cut-off message. I wanted to say I share your algorithm frustration.
Thanks for such a well thought put and well worded review. Definitely helped me decide if I would add it to my queue. Wish all reviews were as detailed and thorough as this. I appreciate your efforts.
Smelled great, just wish I could have used it
My whole car now smells like this, in itself not a bad thing, but the product came in broken and leaked all over the place.
I feel you, my first scent was that way...3 months and my car still smells great
Its a bit off-putting when you first spray it but it settles really well
Not what I expected
Based off of the notes I thought that this would be a bit sweeter but instead I think that the notes of ginger, patchouli, and apricot turned a bit sour on my skin.
I absolutely love this fragrance! I have attained so many compliments from co workers to friends. It has a very rich smell to it and perfect for the winter and fall seasons.
Enough "old lady"
Can we stop with the "smells like an old lady" reviews? I see this on every single perfume, which is very unhelpful. How is it old ladies smell like every perfume under the sun? Please give actual details about what the notes smell like.
I totally agree with you about the "old lady" or "grandma" references. So cliché. Both of my grandmothers happened to smell great. My mother who is in her late 70's now never smells outdated in her choice of scents. I wish all of the descriptions about perfumes smelling like older people would be deleted. If folks would only think more creatively in their reviews! Just a little more effort would help.
This grabbed the the wifes attention
I received many compliments on this scent.
Sexy strong but soft
This fragrance is perfect for winter it’s intense to the point it comes off strong but soften to a fresh smell and that I got lots of compliments on .. I would recommend for a woman who is bold and confident and not afraid to show it ..
Not at all like described
I don't get soft sweet and Amber. I get loud and awful like old patchouli. I don't know if mine was bad or old but it was nasty.
This has surprisingly become one of my favorites. I lean more towards the spice scents versus florals, but this has a mix of spice, fruit and herbs. It is not too strong/overpowering but it has stamina and stays with you all day. I will be buying the full size of this.
Not quite sure I like this scent! It has a hint of musk and masculinity. It is a unisex scent but I think it should be a masculine scent!
Smells like a thousand years old
This scent is so strong and quite obnoxious. It's smells like old men in a leather shop.
Beautiful warm spicy floral fragrance...
This fragrance garnered me compliments all day though its projection isn't strong or offensive. People were just leaning in and asking if I used lotion or what that scent was? It was in the fifties today and sunny, which I think is perfect fall weather for a fragrance like this. It's oriental, but not at all heavy. Rather, it's feminine and floral and spicy and warm and balanced with a just a touch of skin scent and woods that grounds it plus a bit of powder, too. It's really quite incredible what Elisire accomplished here. It's like an updated version of the 80's powerhouse fragrances, but totally approachable and wearable even in the office. Good liquid, and doesn't take a lot of sprays to last all day, either. I get an easy eight hours from three sprays, and may use less in spring.
Stronger but delish
This scent is a little heavier than I am used to, but not over powering. Definitely can smell the ginger (which I love) but the blend with the sweetness is perfect. this is also the only perfume I have actually received compliments on from the opposite sex!
LOUD VERY LOUD
OLD LADY LOUD AND LONG LASTINGLY LOUD HORRIBLE
I really love this one. Its the 2nd time i ordered this. Its not really strong smelling.
Of my favorite
Don’t like this one at all!
First scentbird I have gotten that I immediately just HATED. I tried to pass it off to my friends for free and they still wanted nothing to do with it.. I don't know if I'm missing something.. but this smell is very very "old lady" smelling. I like woodsy, old, natural smells and reading the note description this seems like all of the things I usually like. But no. Absolutely not. Yuk.
A Pleasant Spicy Scent
Strong initially, but after about a half hour it was pleasantly spicy. Lasted most of the day for me without reapplication. I smelled mostly amber with light notes of ginger and vanilla.
Amber with a bit of vanilla and complex fruit. Strong profile, long-lasting, sophisticated, and not a bit immature. I will purchase this.
This scent has just a bit too much patchouli, but the other notes are quite nice. It is definitely a strong, spicy scent.
I got lots of compliments on this. I wore it for work, and ever day use. Women loved it on me. I got smells of ylang ylang, vanillia, and some light cedar smells. I would reorder this one.
This was rich at first then thick with powdery amber after a while, lasting with a warm scent. One of my favorites so far!
Cozy & warm
This is a spicy, bourbon-colored, powdery oriental for autumn nights. Lovely dry down, extremely cozy & comforting. Subtle patchouli is present in the background, which keeps it sexy and moody, but vanilla & amber reign. Campfire smoke, cinnamon, and incense also come to mind
Warm and unusual. A spicy take on an amber perfume. I would wear it anytime, day or night, warm or cool weather, but I’m more the type to wear a perfume based on mood anyway.
Seduction and romance
Powerull elixir of seduction and romance. Not old lady like. Just purely intoxicating. Everyone around me clings to my scent. It stops people in mid speech to ask what is that amazing smell.
I semi enjoyed this scent. I think it smelled too "old" for me at age 20. almost like something my grandmother would wear. However when I layered this scent with sweet perfumes, it really was pleasant.
Everything I wanted this to be!
First, I don't understand why a man would review a perfume ;P Now to the good stuff. This perfume is everything I expected it to be and more. It's not for everyone, and comes on strong when you first spray it. The drydown is soft and beautiful. The reason I left off 1 star is that it has no sillage. The scent fades very quickly and reapplication is a must. I am definitely getting cinnamon in the dry down and I absolutely adore fragrances with cinnamon! Remember Estee Lauder's Cinnabar? I'm not a note-worthy person...but I do know what I like. This scent has it all: Incense-y - CHECK! Spicy - CHECK! Intense, sexy notes - CHECK! This scent reminds me of a church at high mass, or a dark little hole in the wall store that offers anything esoteric while burning Nag Champa. It reminds me of walking through kiosks in the burning hot Moroccan sun looking at Persian rugs for sale. It reminds me of the Earth, walking under the moonlight in a long dark robe cherishing life and wondering what else there is... If you like deep, mysterious fragrances that are not in the mainstream this fragrance is definitely for you!
Beacuse it is a unisex scent, not just a perfume for women.
It was ok but too strong it kind of had more like a female perfume after awhile it was still to strong i liked cause it stay on all day but the smell was a bit too strong.
Smells really good
Doesn't smell good
Very Strong Unpleasant Smell
This perfume I did not like at all. It is very strong and reminds me of a perfume my grandmother used to wear. I love amber, but this scent was not good.
ÉLISIRE AMBRE NOMADE
Not too sweet with warm undertones.
Holy moly this is a strong perfume!
Holy moly this is a strong perfume! Definitely cannot wear this to work. It's nice once it mellows out, but it takes a LONG time to do that.
Takes a minute to settle
This is a great fragrance once it settles on your skin. It does smell medicinal when you first put it on, but then transforms into a lovely scent that lasts all day.
Smoke and amber realness
This is gorgeous! The apricot is sweet, the amber is rich and the entire scent seems to glow from the inside out. It is strong but not overpoweringly so (still, I use a judicious hand when spraying this one). The dry down is smoky and resinous but still has an element of sweetness. Spillage and longevity are both in the large domain—-not beastly, but still big. It reminded me of 80’s orientals having a fling with smoky incense.
Scent varies on me
My initial impression was gorgeous but this one goes through distinct stages of variable scents, some great, some not but overall long-lasting. I prefer it as a home fragrance rather than on me.
Not for me
I normally love spicy sexy scents. They just work so well with my body chemistry. Unfortunately this particular perfume wasn’t to my liking. The patchouli notes were overwhelming so as to overpower everything else. It reminds me of incense as soon as it’s sprayed.
Not Crazy About It...
Not a fan of it...smells masculine.
Not your typical scent and that is why I like!
I feel like a Maharaja!
I feel like I should be draped in the finest silk, lounging on the plushest velvet. Strong individual notes which settles down to woodsy, earthy spicy scent. I live that my scarf now smells of it!!
It was a but strong but it reminded me of winter time ! The holidays
Spicy and deep
This scent goes on strong but fades allot . It’s got a very deep spicy scent that is very warm and pleasing but I can’t smell it at all by mid day.
