Not my preference
I wasn’t sure and wanted to try. I don’t hate it/ I will use it / just not my favorite. VERY strong.
Very feminine and cozy
Very gentle, I felt as I was covered with a nose at quality Jersey blanket))
i like it ok. Smells rather old fashioned though
this is what I expect in a fine scent
I can smell all day long even in my bedroom.
Sexy powdery (but not sickeningly) plum. Date night hippy dippy vibes. Sexy and whimsical. Smells like a girl that burns incense.
Loved this scent, but it didn't last very long.
nice but not a favorite
loved this one! my co workers said it smelled too "old Lady" but i think old ladies smell fabulous! this one has a bit of an edge to it, very girly, and floral.
Smells great but too small
smells like my great grandmother, in the best way. if you thought "wind song" might ever get modern, this is it.

It ok. Not one of my favs but its all personal preferance.
Uhg, super musky old lady smell.
reminded me of a bath oil i wore in the 90s. nostalgic and powdery after it settles into my skin. feels summery and warm.
The scent was way too strong for me.
It reminds me of my grandmother in the '80s! My grandmother used to smell like this when I was younger. OMG! It smells like old ladyish.
This is my favorite perfume, the plum notes are divine. It takes me back in time, I feel like a 40's vixen. This perfume is empowering. Highly recommend!
Reminds me of a late 80s scent that I used to wear, back when power perfumes had depth and glamour. An expensive, mature scent, it’s very sexy and warm. In line with perfumes like Chloe Narcisse or Arden’s Red Door, yet very safe. Multi-dimensional with excellent staying power, and obviously very expensive. It’s love.
i like this entire collections. his interpretation of fragrance makes for the most lovely floral scents.
It's not a bad fragrance by any means, I'm just starting to realize that I'm really not a fan of Tuberose. It dominates the scent for me in an odd creamy floral that I just don't enjoy.
too strong for me
One I would buy ❤️
Smells amazing. This is one I would buy in a full size.
Nice scent... Not my favorite
This one is my favorite by far
25 to 34
I’m not a fan of this. It’s such a heavy scent, and honestly gives me a headache. I wanted to like it, but this is one that will be given away or tossed. It’s the least favorite one I’ve received.

Floral but vintage
This scent worked so well on me! It gave off a Parisian seductress vibe, which really works with my aesthetics. It smells chic. I highly recommend if your body works well with more intense fragrances. Definitely a nice "winter to spring" or "fall to winter" scent.

Too strong for me.
Comes on strong. Hard for me to describe. I like mature scents but this was too much. Eventually this dried down to a nice mellow scent but it didn't last long.

Please bring it back!
My absolute favorite perfume! I absolutely love it!
Strong woody floral
This perfume is perfect for fall and winter date nights. Its strong and sexy, but if you're confident enough you could get away with wearing it during the day. It's not powdery at all, somewhat spicy though. I wouldn't say it's mature, but I also wouldn't recommend it to anyone in their 20's unless florals were their absolute favorite date night fragrance, with woody and spice coming next.

My sister and I both have scentbird accounts. She gave me this perfume because it didn't work on her. I like florientals. This is hands down my favorite perfume I have received from scentbird. I really hope they bring it back.

One of my favorites!
Bring this one back, I loved it!
Deep dark plum color, definite note of sweet plum, musk and vanilla with a woodsy backround. Very sensual, great for a sexy evening out with your mate. The aroma last well through out the day or night, but I think it’s really for the night. I really enjoyed, but to each her own. It is strong with the first spray but dies down nicely.
EB Florals by Eric Buterbaugh
The scent is everything I wanted it to be AMAZING!!
Not my best pick.
It just does not mix with my body chemistry.
At first I thought this scent was overwhelming but I quickly grew to love it. It has a soft floral scent that lasts all day long.
Not what I look for in a perfume.
Unexpected bur delightful
I was very, very worried at first. It opens very heavily on cashmere and sandalwood. Sandalwood is normally a scent that makes me smell like I haven't bathed in weeks but this was surprisingly light after the dry down. My fiance smells what he thought were gardenias but most likely the tuberose. I don't get the plum until about an hour into wearing it. I get tuberose, cashmere, jasmine and sandalwood at the same time, then plum. A nice touch of sweetness at the end. I don't get any dahlia at all though. I enjoy this as a winter scent. The I've had it on for 2 hours so far and just on my wrist and I'm loving the warmness I get from time to time. The silage is great for me as a medical worker, you have to get pretty close to smell it which for me is a great plus. I think this is a great classic scent for older women like me (41) or very confident younger women.
new favorite - warm and sexy
I didn't know what to think of this as I am not usually a fan of florals and this brand has florals in the name. My partner absolutely adores it on me and can't stop smiling when he smells it. It is a well rounded scent that dries down well and stays smelling warm and lovely
Vintage oriental vibe
Not an unpleasant scent but not very floral or impressive either. That was my first impression but I just tried it again and decided I love the dark spicy winter nights air of it after all. I think I overdid it the first try!
This has a beautiful sweet smell as needs my husband loves it too....in me of course.😉
The perfume smells good but it is like a older woman smell. Very plumy.
My absolute favorite!
This is a made to last the day I receive the most compliments from this scent! If I could receive this more often I would!
By far one of my favorites so far! I get lots of compliments on it too!
This scent grows on you. Gets better within minutes.

Warm and Dark Floral
On paper this floral fragrance has notes I adore, that should blend into a dream, but the pink pepper really reduces the thrill, there is a lot of it. Also, I have very high standards for tuberose, since I am an owner of Frederic Malle Carnal Flower, so anytime the tuberose note stands out and doesn't blow me away I am unfairly harsh. While the drydown ends up being lovely, the pink pepper just pushes the limits for too long. This would lean more vintage-feeling than modern if it weren't for that. Not something I have ever wanted to wear since sampling a couple of times, unfortunately.
I love this perfume! It has a very distinct scent that is both fruity and floral. The plum comes through beautifully. I can spray it at 7 am and still smell it at 5 pm. Might have to buy this one!
This is a very beautiful fragrance. Very "grown up" and sophisticated scent.
The vanilla base notes are stronger than I expected and kind of overpower the floral notes, but it smells nice and my husband likes it a lot.
This scent is definitely one for an older woman.
This scent is more than fragrance
Just spritzing yourself with this is beautiful. I can't explain why it just one of those fragrances that make you happy to smell it. This is just that. It's almost like a Sunday afternoon drive in the mountains kind of scent. Maybe even a slow walk along the beach on a summer night. No matter what the notes are, the product as a whole makes me smile every time I spray it. It'll be gone LONG before the recommended 30 day use. :)
Like an old lady
To musky and not enough florals.
I love almost anything with Jasmine and most floral perfumes. This is perfect and sultry and yummy. It is the type of scent you wear when you want someone to feel your absence.
This scent is fantastic. It's a deep scent and have gotten so many compliments.
This is a beautiful scent. It is old timey to me and very complex.
Move over Chanel
I've always been a Chanel girl but I find myself reaching for this more often than not.
This was rich, subtle and yet has a good staying power. I love the varied textures and layers, and even more, the way it's all balanced. Goes on lovely and dries even lovelier! It's definitely a heavier scent, but still manages to be light enough for day time. Classy and mature in an ageless way.
Too old lady like?
This scent, is nice smelling if you want to smell like a young but old lady...not sure how to put it, it just reminds me of something my grandmother would wear... I guess I didn't get the hint of 1947 before they randomly selected this perfume for me
Different & Unique
It certainly is different. It's pretty, feminine, long lasting. It's not my favorite but it's not horrible, it's just different and unique.
From the second this hit my skin I was in Heaven! This is my favorite so far out of all the other wonderful fragrances I’ve received! It’s the only one that I could still smell the next morning! Every phase of this fragrance appealed to my senses in every way possible! My goodness, this stuff is “viral” and made me feel so sexy!
I love this perfume it reminds me of warm blankets in the winter.
Did not like it
Reminded me of a teachers perfume (old lady)
EB florals is an all time favorite brand for me and I absolutely love this scent.
This is gorgeous....
I never wear florals, but this perfume is awesome! When I first sprayed it on, I thought it smelled like 100 other floral perfumes I have smelled over the years and I was slightly disappointed. But then a few minutes later, a peppery (or something) smell emerged and I can't really explain it, but it all just came together into a fabulous and very glamorous scent totally unlike anything I had ever smelled before. It smells exactly the way you would imagine old Hollywood would smell. Love it!
Why do I have to fall in love with things I can't afford!
So this has to be my favorite. This is how I would imagine Old Hollywood would smell light yet extravagant.
Me too now I have to start a go fund me lol
I absolutely love the scent, and it has become one of my go to colognes.
Gorgeous floral scent
This is a beautiful white floral. It’s not cloying or overly sweet like many white florals can be. I confess I don’t know what an actual dahlia smells like but the plum and jasmine are perfect. There’s just a hint of spice and vanilla and it has decent longevity. I’m seriously contemplating buying a bottle!
already picked one up and have signed up with Scentbird to send me the lot of their samples to smell 'em all LOL! #addicted
The jasmine is the first really big hit. Then the pepper sets in. It is just the right combination of spicy and sweet.
a little too "old lady" smelling for me
too heavy on the musk
Not my favorite EB fragrance. Too strong.
This perfume is very soft and doesn't last long. I like it but don't love it.
statement making vintage scent
I like over the top scents, and this is one luscious, vintage gem. I think more winter than fall. Very feminine. Totally surprises me that it's unisex. The word "grandma"/ "old lady" gets thrown around a lot here, and I never fully grasp what's sooo bad about that, but I have to say this scent is on the borderline of sexy and old. I love it though. very warm and long lasting.
What's offensive about it too is saying that all "old ladies" smell a certain way. It is ok to say something smells more mature, but besides doing it respectfully it is not helpful if a person can't be more specific than that.
exceptional fall scent with wood undertones
It's long lasting and smells great
Glamorous Vintage Scent
This is sultry and perfect for fall. A warm and embracing scent. I WILL BE BUYING A FULL BOTTLE!
Love this Scent
My Boyfriend, and kids all agreed that this smelled incredible. i absolutely love it. actually signed in to order more and it said it was unavailable :(
I think they just won't let you order the same thing within 6 months. So you should be able to order again after the time has passed. I'm excited to try this one!
I loved this scent
A New Favorite!
I simply love this fragrance. I don't know about it being for both men and women - it is very feminine to me. It has a heady, syrupy jasmine scent that reminds me of walking into a garden center in the middle of summer when their jasmine & honeysuckle are in full bloom. While it starts off on the strong side, it lasts all day!
Great for an old lady
I enjoyed it, but i would recommend it more for ladies that are older.
I absolutely loved this fragrance! I wish I had a bigger bottle so I could spray more. The scent lasted all day long. Very feminine and romantic. I had many compliments throughout the day. It did remind me of Insolence by Guerlain. I will definitely get this another time.
I didn't love this. Very mature. Quite heavy. I like lighter florals. I gave it to my daughter. She said she might wear it sometime.
Beautiful and Elegant
This one is quite lovely, and definitely smells like it could come from 1947. It’s got a BEAUTIFUL floral bouquet open and dry down. The Dahlia, cashmere wood and jasmine are VERY prominent in the beginning and in the dry down, with the plum and tuberose peaking through. VERY well made. I would ABSOLUTELY buy a bottle of this. If someone is not into floral perfumes don’t get this one. As for me, I love them.
I agree that this scent totally gives off an Old Hollywood vibe. This feels like something you'd wear when you're all dressed up for a nice dinner date. Very mature. There's a nice balance between the florals and the woodsy notes. Heavy but not overpowering. A strong scent but its sillage isn't TOO diffusive.
Creamy and woodsy and still floral and feminine! Ends with a very sweet note. This feels like a signature scent for me! I love every moment of this smell!
Creamy, spicy floral veil
This smells like how velvet feels. It's a heady but not overly heavy (on me, at least) blend of creamy spices, woody vanilla and a deep yellow floral heart. It evokes a 40s starlet, all elegance and glamour with a flirty edge. Definitely a pick for date night, but I'd wear this whenever I want a sexy/non-gourmand vanilla overlaid with warm florals, gentle spice, and the teeniest bit of vintage face powder. Medium projection and medium/low sillage on my skin with two sprays, still detectable but ready to reapply if desired by around 7-8 hours.
Definitely a date night scent
For me it wasn't as flowery as I was hoping, it had a very heavy presence of a mature smell. Definitely appreciate it but I would recommend this as a winter or late fall smell because it is very strong. I thought it would be a light, floral smell and was excited for it to be a summer scent.
I liked this fragrance even though I wouldn't order it again. It has a nice floral that isn't easily recognizable and you won't smell everywhere else. Definitely reminds me of a 1940's movie star. So if that appeals to you like an old classic movie, you'd like this perfume. Go lightly with it.
A Gorgeous Throwback
This is the first ever fragrance i've written a review on. This perfume was exactly what i expected it to be - an old world hollywood night out smell, with florals and sex all over. This perfume is for chic women who dress up and remember a bygone time. I'm practically obsessed. So glad i took a risk on this one,
Almost too flowery but stays a long time and does smell amazing
Very surprising scent. Strong, sweet florals at first, but then it warms up and becomes creamy, decadent and very rich. Extremely complex, very difficult to pull out a single note. I'm hesitant with florals, as I usually prefer more gourmand, spicy or woodsy scents. This one, however, is both feminine floral and rich gourmand, with a 'summer night' feeling......very sexy.........makes a statement. This is a femme fatale fragrance for sure.
It starts off as very floral and it is a bit strong. I find it impossible to differentiate any one single floral note which I am sure is a credit to the creator. It takes an interesting turn a few minutes later and goes warm, spicy, woodsy with just a breath of sweetness. It is so interesting and very unique. I don't hate it but it is simply not appealing to me personally. I think it is just too heavy for me. I will put it away and try it again when the weather cools down.
This scent surprised me. It is chic and sophisticated. Great to wear for a date!
An old one
This fragance makes me think the gatsby times. Too strong for the day, but perfect for night. At the beginning the smell is floral and maybe a touch of caramel and the scent that last are violets.
Not my favorite
It's not the worst but it just smells to "musky" for my liking.
This smells like a grandma.
Smells good but not for me
I didnt really like it its too blah i like stronger sexier scents
Not my style
This is strong and lasts a long time, it’s just not my favorite. It’s very mature
IT has a nice floral scent
It goes on strong, and it last all day.
Great sexy datenight or romance scent
Warm sexy scent
I love this! Longevity is amazing for a floral. I am reminded of Tom Ford pour Femme. I would say this is an evening, cool weather scent. It may be too rich for humid climatesm Sexy, mature, vava voom!
I found it to be way too strong and it burned my eyes.
I love the sent. It floral without being overwhelming. I can ware this at anytime. It reminds me of the spring when flowers first bloom.
Not long lasting
At first Ascent is very pleasurable enjoyable, but it becomes stronger and more masculine after a long wear; and when I say a long wear we're talking around 4 hours.
Exact as the title....
Smells exactly like the name, elegant old fashion summer day.
Not for me
I cant get passed the scent of it to even spray it on my or use as a room spray
Refreshing and delightful
Scent was refreshing and delightful something i would wear to a wedding ir church lasted all day
I love this scent. Bold and sophisticated, yet elegant and classy. I imagine its what 1950s glamour smells like.
Was a nice perfume. Good for the spring, although I DO like it and use it everyday I won’t buy it again. It’s not my “match” like Burberry Brit is. It’s fun to try different perfumes like this!!
I’m in LOVE with this scent, will add it to more of my queue!!!
This scent was horrible! It smelled like my grandmother's cheap perfume. Definitely regret this one!
Way too strong, sprayed once and wore, throughout the day I had such a headache from the overwhelming smell.
Too strong for me
Several reviewers said this would be a good choice for an older woman. I'm among that group and it is much too strong for me. Fragrance preference doesn't change as one gets older. I have always liked light, clean scents and this still holds true. This is a fragrance that someone who likes a strong scent would enjoy.
Love this! The woods and vanilla base along with the plum gives it a dark, velvety feel. The white flowers are very subdued to me, they are there, but don’t jump out, and the pink peppercorn gives a nice touch of spice. No idea what dahlia smells like (I’ve seen them but don’t recall a smell), but I can feel the idea of a dark reddish purple flower with layers of velvety petals. Nicely blended. Will be adding a full bottle to my collection, think it will be especially nice as an evening scent.
This smell was too strong for me. I didn't like it very much at all. It lastes long which was a good thing but definitely was not a smell for me. I'm trying to figure out who I could pass it onto that would like it.... still thinking.
Love the scent
Very impressed by this perfume. The only downfall is that it doesn't last very long at all
Its smells good but too strong for me
This smell wonderful really a turn on. only problem I have is that it doesn’t last long on my skin. But I can’t get enough of the smell.
Wow!! This one knocked my socks off. A gorgeous rich floral with a hint of musk. I usually can't stand musks at all but the tiny amount does something here. The sandalwood is present too. Although its pretty, I can see the right guy wearing this. A man who likes the fruitier Burberry scents might like this. Would also be nice layered with a spritz of something with a little spice. As another review said below, I too will be wearing this wearing this just for the BF. Can wear every day but.... I'll save it.
Not my scent
Smells alright, this is a scent for someone in their mid 40s but not a scent I would personally choose.
My Grandma would have loved it. Me not so much!
Eric Buterbaugh Dahlia
I loved this light floral fragrance
