Tonka beans are tiny, shriveled, black seeds from the Tonka tree found in Central and South America. Their slightly sweet, vanillic, and smoky hay scent adds a spicy, gourmand edge to a fragrance. My very first scent. Was not in my que. Awful smell on me. Sooooo Old Lady... Did I say YUCK! Worst perfume EVER. Don't waste your time or money. Don't offend the people around you by wearing this.

I do not think I lined up a perfume for queue in time; oops- but I love this.it is mature and autumn; but NOT old lady; stronger than most other ones I have received; one spray and awhile later my wrist still carries a bit of scent. I did think it was a little masculine or unisex. I do not think it is just vanilla; I get some honey Burbon feel from it.

Just received this scent. When I first smelled this fragrance in the bottle I thought it was not for me. However, as soon as it made contact with my skin I fell in love. Lots of the reviews for this scent called it a simple vanilla fragrance. I do NOT agree. You can definitely smell the vanilla and amber but they are mixed beautifully with Juniper and a clean yet complex undertone. It reminds me of Light Blue with the addition of a sweet vanilla. As soon as I entered my daughter's room she said, "wow you smell good". I asked my husband's opinion and he immediately said, "oooh yeah, I like this one." That's all I needed to hear. I may be purchasing the full size of this one. Thank you scentbird.
