Tonka beans are tiny, shriveled, black seeds from the Tonka tree found in Central and South America. Their slightly sweet, vanillic, and smoky hay scent adds a spicy, gourmand edge to a fragrance. Tonka beans work best in spicy and sweet scents featuring similar notes: clove, vanilla, heliotrope, bitter almonds, labdanum, cinnamon, etc. Their vanilla and hay-like scent is ideal for fall or winter, but usually blends well enough to wear any time you need a little sweet, warm spice to liven up the citrus or wood notes in a fragrance.

    Smells amazing
    Smells strong but not to strong lasts long and it doesn’t strongly smell of vanilla but it’s still a good fragrance smel expensive it’s what I was looking for

    Neither distinctive nor lasting, and caused allergic reaction
    I liked this but didn’t at all love it - it’s much more bland than I expected and doesn’t last. However what’s prompted the review is to register that it did bring out an itching allergic reaction when I wore it - no doubt that it was caused by this particular scent as I methodically eliminated everything else that might have caused it. I have sensitive skin but it’s not often that perfumes bring out a reaction - going to have to bin the remainder of this one.
