The dominant notes to me are the coconut and the ylang ylang, but the background salty and marine notes add a hint of summer. I would NOT say this perfume strays into the tropical island territory though. I feel this could be worn year-round (but I live in Florida, so...) Coconut is smooth and creamy and does not give sunscreen vibes at all. The other notes such as orchid and bamboo are noticeable but beautiful blended into the composition.
