Smells like old people
This one is one of my least favorites I have gotten on Scent Bird. As soon as I tried it, I wished I hadn't. I feel like I aged 40 years by putting it on. No thanks!
My least favorite. Smells like something an old lady would wear. Everything before this I loved.
My very least favorite thing is the ugly, pointless use of the phrase “old lady” to describe a disliked perfume. Do you know why? - because I am an old lady. Think about what you just wrote and think about how it makes older women feel. Then think about how many different kinds of perfume “old ladies” wear, so how useless and undescriptive (in addition to cruel) your review is.
This will be an air freshener-
Smells like a flower shop. Way to old school and powdery. Smells like something you would encounter in a senior center on how night.
As a “senior” and perfume collector who wears many fragrances that are all quite different from each other, it is difficult to convey just how cruel and pointless your review is. Come on, you must have older women in your life - do better for their sake. Imagine them reading your review.
Classic, Refined, Woodsy smell
Decent Fall smell. Very Woody and masculine.
Smells like a old stale lady... would even spray this on some dry 🌸 I gave to my nana no stars if I could #ewwww
What is wrong with you? I am an old lady and this review is useless and cruel? Are you seriously going to try and claim that every older woman smells exactly alike? When if you stand by a perfume counter you will see many older women coming in and buying completely different scents? But somehow, magically, they all smell exactly alike?! How would you like it if someone went around talking about stinking old women in front of your mom? In front of you if you are lucky enough to get old? Do better! Show some accuracy, creativity, and kindness.
Reminds me of my old great aunts powder
Did not enjoy this. Description sounded good and smelling just the bottle was fine, but as soon as I sprayed it I could tell I wouldn't like it. Reminds me of an old ladies powder.
I cannot believe the cruelty and ignorance of many of these reviews! I AM AN OLD LADY!!! I collect fragrance, along with many of my old lady friends. We do not all smell alike. What is wrong with you to write something so ugly and groundless?!
If you kinda like the smell of an oldish vintage scent then this is for you. Smelling this I think of libraries and aged wood. It is a fragrance that feels a bit more mature but it wears AMAZINGLY and lasts all day long with two sprays. Wearable no matter your age
I did not enjoy this scent at all. It was an odd mix of men's cologne and rose that does not work together.
I do like this scent because I like the more woodsy smell. This one is a tad bit too masculine in the beginning but it does mellow out after a few hours.
My least favorite
It smelled old, I didn’t like it at all.
Ok for Grandma
My title says it all. If I smelled my grandma wearing this, I'd compliment here on how lovely it smells. But for me, it's a no-go. The floral part of the scent wears quickly, leaving you with this musty heavy after smell (probably where grandma comes in).
I, and many of my friends, are 1) old enough to be grandmas; 2) Wear fragrances that are not in the least alike; 3) Wear fragrances that are not musty. Honestly, what are you thinking? Yours is a cruel, useless review. Do better and show some intelligence, sensitivity, and imagination!
The scent was ok. Doesn’t last very long
Nice, but light.
What I could smell of the scent was pleasant. It's a very light scent, but with a pleasing floral scent. This is definitely not an easily noticed scent, but one that would require close quarters, or a sharp sense of smell to be noticed.
average musky scent
For a musky scent it's ok for the fall. If you don't have any musky scents it's ok. This just doesn't compete with Tom Ford Noir EDT or EDP. If you want a more creamy musky scent get Noir. This scent however smells a little too floral.
Nice dirty 🌹
Definitely a keeper. Very high quality juice that I wished lasted a little longer. Leans a bit more masculine in my opinion but I can see an older female pulling this one off. Projection is arms length for the first 3 hours then sits closer to the skin. Sillage is moderate... Not my manrose by etro but not bad at all!
An amazing fragrance that you have to wait for.
On initial spray you are greeted with a very punchy dark rose. Almost a tuberose like scent but still more floral. I thought i had made a mistake by making this as my choice of the month. If you're willing to soldier on through the initial rosy blast you are in for a treat. After about the 20 minute mark the midnotes of citrus and spices begin to push into the forefront with the underlying rose still supporting and you begin to see the masterpiece that has been created. Finally, right around 45 minutes to an hour the combination of dark spices, amber and dark rose will give you that OH MY GAWD moment. This fragrance gives about a foot or two of projection and sillage. Give it a try if you're adventurous and you will not be disappointed. warning: that initial dark rose is very punchy!
