(Malin + Goetz) Bergamot is an uplifting, brisk, spicy scent. It has an effervescently pleasing opening, with the bright profusion of bergamot, lemon, mandarin, lime, and grapefruit, spiked with a bracing green bell pepper note. A heart of ginger, cardamom, spearmint, and black pepper combine to intensify its cool, refreshing profile.
(Malin + Goetz) Bergamot is an uplifting, brisk, spicy and approachable perfume. It has one of the most effervescently pleasing openings of anything we carry – a bright profusion of bergamot, lemon, mandarin, lime and grapefruit, spiked with a bracing green bell pepper note. And what’s even better is that these notes don’t quickly disappear at the start, but stick around for several minut
I added this one to my queue because I love the smell of Magnolia. There's something about this perfume that makes me like but I don't love it. It's very citrusy almost like fresh squeezed lemons or orange peels. It comes off very acidic then tones down and you can almost get a whiff of the floral. Very summery like drinking a margarita. Probably wouldn't buy it again.
This is nice for an every day scent. I like to wear it to work because it isn't overwhelming and people seem to like it. It is a little spicier than I expected but overall a nice clean citrus scent. I feel like it's a more grown up version of Clinique's Happy
This scent was stronger and spicier than I expected. I definitely smell more of the green pepper and pepper than I expected from a "citrusy scent." It's nice for when I'm looking to wear something sassier with more of a kick to it but like some other reviewers mentioned, I felt it faded within an hour or so. I won't be ordering a full bottle or second sample.
I absolutely adore this scent! It starts out smelling exactly like lime, then settles down to a more mellow citrus scent. The only problem with this fragrance is it has no legs whatsoever on me. The scent is pretty much gone in an hour.
This vibrant citrus scent doesn't pull punches. It adamantly refuses to invite any other scent families to play as if doing so would compromise the passionate showcase of bergamot, grapefruit and green pepper. It comes on strong and lingers with an aggressive dry down but doesn't last the whole day. I would hesitate to reapply mid-day unless I was at home-- a single spray immediately fills the room with sharp bergamot and may overwhelm a delicate nose.
At times it smells very citrusy, other times it smells more musky. There's an undercurrent of something that lingers longer than the initial scent. I cant wear it everyday but its pretty nice on a colder day.
I wasn't sure how I'd feel about this, I'd heard good things, but typically I'm not a fan of bergamot scents, but I decided to stick with it anyway. This is definitely one of my favorite scents now. While it does have that citrusy bergamot scent up front, it has a very masculine spice that becomes more apparent after the dry-down. Really like this scent.
I was excited to try this since bergamot is one of my favorite scents! However, the only thing I can smell in this is the green pepper. Even after wearing it for a while, the green pepper is all I can detect. Not something I really love to smell like.
This fragrance reminds me of my grandmother's house every Sunday before we went to church. The fragrance's smell was in direct correlation to my grandmother's personality - temperamental, and strong!
While it is a good memory to hold of my grandmother, I don't think I would use it as I am branding myself.
I am not particularly impressed with this one as much as the others. My partner and I tried the Cannabis cologne by Malin+Goetze and it was great, but this one I do not really enjoy the scent, as it is really light and not noticeable after a few hours.
