Nosferatu

I feel like this is what Morticia would smell like. Cold dark rainy night in a cemetery with subtle soft floral smell coming through. This is now one of my favorite fragrances. Completely evokes what this fragrance was meant to do and be.

I don’t know what I expected, but it wasn’t this. Kind of bitter and musty? Would be fine in very small amounts.

I'm probably biased because I had already bought a bottle of this prior to getting it from SB, but I love this so much. My two favorite smells in nature are rain and lilacs, so this was a home run for me. The opening really does smell like wet stones, or pavement after it rains. But that doesn't last too long before the delicate lilacs and violents shine through. This scent is not too strong and stays close to the skin, so don't expect beast mode performance or projection. But if you want a soft and unique floral that leans a bit eerie, try this.

Was very intrigued to try when I read how Heretic described this fragrance. I don't like florals generally and gravitate towards fall and winter type scents. However the violet and lilac in Nosferatu are definitely not your typical warm, springlike heavy flower notes. This reads more cold and damp. I really love how the ambergris and petrichor balance it all out. My nose picks up a faint hint of old, dusty book or attic something hiding in the background. Some people describe smelling cucumber when first sprayed but to me it's more like decaying flower stems or leaves. Dry down is exactly what I hoped for, very soft and complex. It's quite unique and beautiful

I don't know what it is, but I can't get enough of this perfume. So good!!
