When you first spray it, it’s this burst of gorgeous florals that feels like happiness in a bottle. But the dry down!!! That’s when things REALLY get interesting. The dry down feels warm and yellow orange - exactly like the colour of a monarch butterfly’s wings. The smell is the very essence of a marigold - almost better than smelling the real thing! When I have this on and get a whiff of myself, it feels like my blood has turned to nectar. It’s sensual, unusual and somehow airy. I don’t like heavy, cloying scents, preferring instead scents have have a lot of transparency and luminosity. For reference, I love Liis’s Ethereal Wave and Lucienne for these exact reasons.
