Liberty London sits at the corner of Carnaby Street and Regent Street — two of the best shopping streets in London. Liberty’s easily one of my favorite places to shop in the city. The mock-Tudor building stands apart from everything around it, the window displays are always incredible, and its six floors unfold like a treasure trail of fashion, fabric, beauty, and design. It’s the perfect size for a department store: big enough for unexpected discoveries, but compact enough to explore without getting lost.

Liberty’s perfume counter has always been iconic—I smelled a Serge Lutens fragrance there for the first time, and it was a formative fragrance moment for me. Created with Gabriela Chelariu, who worked on many of Kayali’s most popular fragrances, Maze was inspired by Liberty’s archival Orchard print.
