Scentbird’s September Issue

new perfumes september 2025

If Vogue has the September Issue, then we’ve got… well, a serious issue with September. It marks the beginning of the end of summer, which can sometimes feel like the end of the world—not to be dramatic or anything. Like fashion, fragrance is all about reinvention, and the beauty of September is that the end of summer can bring fresh beginnings.

New Perfumes for September 2025: The Scentbird September Issue

Because if Vogue is turning the page with Chloe Malle stepping into Wintour’s heels, Scentbird’s September Issue is turning the nozzle on a new season of scents. And this one is massive. Think Aesop Above Us, Steorra floating into orbit, and Dior prepping Les Récoltes Majeures Le Jasmin to bloom early in the month. Ellis Brooklyn has already dropped Queens Caramel (a gourmand fit for royalty), and that’s just page one.

Flip further, and the editorials only get juicier: collabs are on the horizon with Ice Spice x Revlon, Swarovski x Coty, and Palm Angels x Revlon—proof that winter may be cold, but the future is looking bright enough to blind the front row.

So yes, we’ve got an issue with September, it takes away summer. But our September Issue makes up for it with scents so haute, so headline-worthy, you’ll forget about beach season. Maybe.

Aesop Above Us, Steorra — Notes, Vibe, Launch

If the name didn’t give it away, Steorra (an Old English word for stars) is aiming straight for the heavens. Created with perfumer Céline Barel, this opulent amber-spice blend feels like a fable told through the medium of scent, with powdery amber, labdanum warmth, and resinous woods coming together in a story of awe and possibility. It’s inspired by that starry-eyed moment of gazing up at a midnight sky, equal parts wonder and “what if.” Still on pre-order, but trust us—we’re already seeing stars.

Best for Jasmine Lovers: Les Récoltes Majeures Le Jasmin

Leave it to Francis Kurkdjian, one of our favorite perfumers, to make jasmine sound like poetry. For Dior’s latest Récolte Majeure, he recreated jasmine from Grasse in all its airy, velvety, opulent glory. Monsieur Dior once called jasmine “a counterpoint to the melody of night and earth,” and Kurkdjian clearly got the memo. This flower is no shrinking violet—it’s center stage, it’s spotlighted, and we cannot wait to smell this love letter to Provence.

Ellis Brooklyn Queens Caramel

We’ve had a taste of Queens Caramel, and let’s just say, it’s dessert with a crown. Caramel, maple sugar, white chocolate, pink salt, and milky musks melt together in a gourmand that’s pure decadence. It’s the kind of treat that turns sweater weather into better weather, a royal indulgence (as the brand calls it), best enjoyed with your coziest knit. Forget pumpkin spice—this fall, dessert is served in mist form.

What’s Next? Collabs to Watch

We know whispers of collabs are in the works—Ice Spice x Revlon, Swarovski x Coty, Palm Angels x Revlon—but that’s all the tea we’re spilling. After all, spoilers spoil the fun. Keep us guessing, that’s half the fun.
