Detour by NOYZ: A Scent Worth Taking the Long Way For

In a world of picture-perfect perfume fantasies (nothing wrong with that, we love them actually), NOYZ is showing up with something different, something louder. Co-founded by entrepreneur Shaun Neff (yes, of Beach House Group fame) and brought to life by master perfumer Jérôme Epinette, NOYZ is a modern fragrance brand that skips the smoke and mirrors in favor of raw emotion, real stories, and scents that actually last.

With names like Sh**ty Day, Love Club, and Unmute, the brand’s launch lineup reads more like a playlist for your mood than a traditional perfume catalog. Each scent is genderless, emotionally charged, and created to hit different, because sometimes you don’t want to smell like a fantasy, you want a scent that stands for something and smells amazing, too.

Backed by a mission to support mental health awareness and disrupt the perfume status quo, NOYZ is teaming up with organizations like CALM ( Campaign Against Living Miserably) and building a fragrance community where realness comes first. And with a Gen Z fanbase and shelf space in the most popular beauty retailers? Let’s just say NOYZ is making… well, a lot of it.

Last August, we spotlighted Love Club and Unmute, and now we’re turning the light beam toward NOYZ Detour. It opens like a bridal bouquet in full bloom, only dreamier, immersed in a love aura and lifted by apple blossom. If you’ve read my posts before (and if not, shame on you), you know skin musk is my forever favorite. So when Detour dries down into that warm, intimate note feels like the ultimate delayed gratification: Soft, slow, and completely worth the wait.
