This goes on so smooth and gives a cooling feeling. Nothing cakey. It literally melts onto your lips and gives a great shine. I don’t think it’s a plumper, but my lips always look fuller and more define when I use this product.
Pink Champagne "Melting Lip Balm"
I do love the melting lip balms. I think they feel very nice. This flavor was just not good. It tasted chemical instead of like a natural flavor.
I absolutely love the pink champagne lip balm ! It is actually the best product!
Too strong floral smell
I did not like this scent or flavor, too strong scent for lips in my opinion. I did like the applicator but that was it
The Pink Champagne flavor is AWFUL and lingered in my mouth
I tossed this in the garbage after one use - the flavor was so off putting. I did like the applicator though. Not a good value for your monthly subscription.
Product was not heavy in my lips. And has an good taste.
Didn't Care for It/Not Worth Cost
So I wasn't going to even review this item but it has popped up yet again in my inbox for me to rate it. The smell is just like the Vaseline lip balm called Champagne. I do like the Vaseline brand of this by the way. However, this brand smells a little stronger. The metal tip is the only thing I liked about this lip balm, it was always cool to the touch. I used it for about 3 days and I had an allergic reaction to it. My lips started to feel rough around the edges with little fine bumps and my lips started to feel like the skin was stretched out. I knew instantly it was from the balm as I've had an allergic reaction to a balm in the past. Same symptoms. As soon as I stopped using it and just used plain vaseline with no fragrance my lips got better. Even if someone could tolerate this balm I don't think it's worth the cost.
Packaging and product quality were lovely. Too perfumed!!
I feel like the quality of the lip balm and packaging were top of the line. I can't bring myself to use it though because the floral perfumed scent. I'm not one for floral scented lip products.
It smells more like pink lemonade but this is best one I’ve tried so far. (I’ve only tried the Rose one and didn’t like it much) Love the cool tips. Makes my lips feel amazing. I don’t really use this as a balm. I use it as a gloss every now and again. Can’t complain!
Very different lip balm
At first I wasn't expecting the floral aspect of this glossy balm. It took a couple of uses to get used to it but it has grown on me and I like it a lot now. It is strong at first and if you're not expecting it, can seem like you have perfume on your mouth. It does fade after a bit. I really love the applicator, the cooling metal tip is different than any other I've tried. The balm itself is very moisturizing and soothing on the lips. I keep reaching for it and reapplying it often. I think that they should include the flowers name in the balm so you aren't surprised when you try it! Lol I was expecting something totally different and didn't realize there was a floral component to the flavor and scent of this. I'm glad I kept using it because it really does make your lips feel nice. I am going to try a couple of different flavors too, just because I like the balm so much.
Was a nice lip balm, definitely keeps the lips nice and hydrated and stays on for a pretty good amount of time. However, the scent was far too strong for me. I'm not the hugest fan of floral flavors and this was pretty close to having a sweet rose in my mouth. Nice as a lip balm, but don't reach for it and wouldn't repurchase.
Ok this one was crazy at first I have to admit. I have read others reviews and have to agree to how they feel about it But......I can’t stop applying a few times daily. It is perfumish to smell. It’s sort of a mind trick though. To me it’s not a perfume taste. It’s a balm so it melts onto ur lip and I adore the metal tip for cool application. The balm just melts on like butter. I’m quite addicted to the application, scent, and taste I’m afraid. I love it all!! I look forward to my application of Pink Champagne
WAY to purfume-y
It smells like straight purfume. Ok otherwise. But it’s lip gloss. Come on. I don’t wanna eat fragrance.
Not a fan
I'm a lip gloss junkie but I didn't really care for the smell of this. It did glide on well and it was not sticky but I wouldn't recommend it and wouldn't buy it.
I never got this item
Love the tubing, smells good, and rolls on smoothly
Could be better
The scent is great but the taste is horrible, I use a lot of lip balm and the price is not very good. i like the cool feel after being applied, but the value just isn't there.
Love it 💝
I get two products a month, so it was only $12.50 for me. I think that’s comparable to Sephora or Ulta and I love the fragrance/flavor. The metal tip makes it feel cool and glide on smoothly, and it’s not sticky or gunky.
This smooth, gloss rolls on nice and cool thanks to the unique metal applicator tip. It's so hard to wear without licking my lips. Lol. But as the skin on my lips is very sensitive, I fear wearing this extensively could cause damage, like peeling or blisters. So far, no complaints, but i try to limit my use.
Nice But Expensive
I like the taste and feel of the lipgloss. However, $15 for 0.27oz is not a good value. I reapply my lipgloss often so I will use this up to quickly.
The moister does not last. You have to keep reapplying. Love the smell and is not sticky.
I had high hopes for this, a serious disappointment. Tastes terrible! I am especially disappointed I received lip balm instead of a fragrance . A very steep price for awful lip balm .
I like it
Idk what everyone is complaining about, I have no issues with this product. It keeps my lips moisturized for a long time, it smells great and lasts for a long time. You also don't need to use a lot either.
Not a fan
I had really high hope for $14.95, but it failed to reach the mark and it taste Honorable! To be completely honest I can get vaseline lip therapy in pink champagne and it smells exactly the same for $4!
I agree and the vaseline brand works better. I actually had an allergic reaction to this one. 🤦🏾♀️
The product itself is really great. it goes on smooth and the smell is really light and refreshing. BUT it taste like you just licked a perfume sample. It leaves a really bad taste in your mouth. I won't buy lip balm again based on the taste.
Most expensive lip gloss ever
Most expensive lip gloss ever!!!! I paid and signed up for perfumes and instead I got this lip gloss that makes my lips numb, feels like wax and stinks the high heaven once out of container. Worst experience ever $15 for lip gloss haha y'all got me good thank goodness I stopped the subscription before i really got screwed over
Good but not great
Goes on smooth and has a lovely scent. It has a nice texture that feels good on my lips and moisturizes some but it’s not like a miracle lip balm or anything. I don’t know that the price is justified.
Not worth spending 14.95
I was really disappointed that this wasn’t as great as I had hoped. Stick to the perfume.
I found it did soften my lips. The 3 🌟is because once you apply everything starts to taste like pink champagne. Drinks, food and yes i only use a little. Sorry this item just isnt for me.
It literally tasted like I ate perfume. It’s moisturizing going on but doesn’t last long at all.
Smells like champagne
I love this lip gloss especially the metal lip gloss applicator it helps the lipgloss go on smoothly and evenly. Very cool to the touch and feels almost like aloe is going on your lips. The Taste is sweet and it smells like champagne. For the price I paid it's not a bad deal.
I really wanted to like this but its taste like i sprayed perfume on my lips! I will not ever order this again it was a complete waste of money!
Tastes like perfume
I really really wanted to love this product and for the most part Scentbird did a good job. The packaging is simple, yet elegant. The metal applicator provides a nice cooling and minor plumping effect. The balm itself feels really nice on my lips. I don't find that there's much of a scent, which I'm fine with but the balm itself tastes horrible. It literally tastes like perfume which is far from pleasant. I tend to lick my lips a lot and it's like I just sprayed perfume in my mouth - yuck. Even if I don't lick my lips, if I breath in too heavily from my mouth I taste it. I will continue to use this because I really like the way it looks on my lips, and with the lovely packaging it feels special when I apply it, but Dear Scentbird: please PLEASE look into reformulating this so it tastes less perfumey. The pink champagne flavor is the only one I've tried, so maybe (hopefully) this is less of an issue with the other flavors.
This. Is. FANTASTIC! I’m head-over-kitten-heels in love!
I admit I wasn’t too keen on Scentbird’s expansion into their own brand of bath & body products and scented candles. But they have ABSOLUTELY won me over with their lip balms! OMG! I’m a huge lip balm fan, and I am forever trying different products. This Pink Champagne Melting Lip Balm is ultra luxe, a non-sticky, honey-like texture that truly does melt into your lips, imparting a decadent moisture that lasts, and it smells and tastes AMAZING. It is a sparkling, romantic sweet fruitiness, a true-to-life white grape “Pink Champagne” fragrance. It makes me think of a hip brunch with my friends when I was in my 20s. I love the cute, high quality packaging, too. What a great value! As part of a subscription, it’s a STEAL. Pink Champagne Melting Lip Balm is my new favorite lip product! (Modern Rose is -also- my favorite.) Yo, Scentbird, you need to come out with more products that smell like Pink Champagne and Modern Rose! Maybe a lip scrub? Lip gloss? Body lotion? Room spray? Makeup finishing spray? I don’t care what, just MAKE IT HAPPEN! I NEED MORE OF THIS IN MY LIFE!
