The ylang ylang was the top note on my skin and lasted for a good two-three hours. It faded into a very, very subtle sandalwood and finished with the cedar, but at that point it smelled more like my skin than anything else. It's a close scent, I don't think even over-spraying would cause someone to be able to smell you unless they were right next to you. If you like scent, but also like your personal space, this might be a good choice for you.
This smelled very "yellow" to me. I could see wearing this to a summer picnic and it would mix well the smoke of a bbq or the tang of fresh sweat.
This is definitely more feminine, but under the right circumstances the right man could pull this off, especially if layered with tobacco, fresh cut grass, the aforementioned sweat, or a very spicy aftershave. On it's own, it is decidely bright and borderline girly. However, there is just enough complexity to be appropriate for older women as well.
I do wish the sandalwood was a bit more prevalent as that would likely push this into a somewhat more masculine scent as well as make it a bit more interesting.
Great for office wear due to the "closeness" of the scent and the fact that it doesn't linger. It's interesting, but not so interesting as to be distracting.
