Ylang-ylang translates as “the flower of flowers”, and it’s found primarily in Southeast Asia in the Philippines (Ylang-ylang is a Tagalog word, which is the national language of the Philippines.). and it’s smoky, vanilla-sweet sensuality is absolutely stunning. It has a rich, silky-petalled texture, making it a fantastic option to wear on its own or with other buttery, mid-to-heavyweight floral notes like jasmine or gardenia.     Not my favorite scent but it grew on me as the day went on
    I can't pin point what note makes me not like it at first but as the scent is worn the smell changes. It becomes more floral to me and I do like it. Maybe, not for everyday but definitely when I'm in the mood for a floral scent.

    Bright sunny florals
    This is a very fun and bright floral fragrance. There's lots of lilac, jasmine, and ylang-ylang on top of the overdose of clean musks that seem to be a common core throughout the This Is Not A Blue Bottle lineup. It does lean a bit feminine (probably the most feminine of the lineup), but I've worn it to work several times and didn't feel self-conscious about being too "girly". If you don't like florals, though, this won't be for you.
