Warm and relaxing
My husband likes this one on me!
Just didn't care for it.
The first sample I have gotten that I did not like. Still love the process and choosing new scents to fall in love with.
Just didn’t care for it. Not bad, just not my taste
Is not my favorite!
Was okay. Definitely not a favorite of mine.
I hate it dnt send me no more i want to return itreturn
I hate it i want to return it asap never send it anymore
I personally don't like it
Nice lasted long
Nice lasted quite a while
Histories de Parfums
Makes me think of an older woman
Was a nice scent but not one of my favorites! Too light. Didn't last long
Soft and spicy
Love this, but it’s more suited for fall/winter. Super groovy. Nothing basic about this one.
not a fan
wasn’t the best
Too fruity don’t like the peach smell
Not really my taste, still trying to figure out what I like in a perfume though.
Sweet spice smell gives this a sophisticated cocktail lounge type of feel. Like you should be sitting in a high back leather chair with a nice old fashioned.
Not for me
I should have known when it had patchouli in it I wouldn't like it, that's on me. But it's literally all I could smell! This one is something I'll have to give away.
Could be better
Of the scents I've tried so far this one doesn't last that long scent wise. So if you go out somewhere you'd definitely have to re apply a few times.
Histoires de Parfum 1969
I love the patchouli base in this fragrance. It’s much friendlier than most.
Not my vibe.
Too strong for me. Felt old and dirty to me..
Love this fragrance
Its soft but not flowery. An unusual scent that I really like.
Strong clove smell.
Smells too much like cloves.
Didn’t like it
Simply warm and wonderful.
I love wearing this perfume as it is a warm scent. It's summer now but I do not feel that it is heady, or overpowering. It mixes well with my skin and is wonderful to still smell after a long day.
A bit strong but I like it . Gives me a real 70’s vibe
I dont think the scents blended well. Maybe it didnt mix with my own chemistry well. The chocolate is very overpowering and seems to muddle the other components.
The opening is very astringent-like. Maybe too much alcohol? Then it turns I think spicy, but not in a good away. It was somewhat pleasant once, but all in all I didn’t like it.
perfectly balanced, a bit bohemian, a bit sophisticated
Stinks. Smells like bug spray. Disappointing. Meh....
I was looking forward to trying something new. Hate throwing money away....
This BLEW ME AWAY! Unlike anything else ive smelled. Its so...spicy yet citrucy...a little sweet...theres so much going on. Truly in love and want to buy a full size NOW.
Smells better than I thought awesome!
It smells like leather bound books and rich mahogany with some fine aged whisky thrown in. It's warm and masculine. It smells like sex with 70s-80s Burt Reynolds. I don't know how else to describe it. This is my new favorite perfume. I'm thoroughly obsessed.
This is probably not for everyone, but fortune favors the bold. I absolutely loved this from the first whiff of it. I'll be purchasing a full bottle very soon. It's so unique, so strident; it bursts into your consciousness. I have a new favorite and it is 1969.
Love the scent
Smells great. It’s strong but I like it strong scents. Has a sweet but spicy scent.
sweet and empowering
sweet smell that says youre ready to go out for the night
My all time fav
Out of all the fragrances I've tried, This is on top!
The scent from the bottle almost turned me off but Histores de Parfum has sold me on another scent of theirs. This is an adaptive cologne. On me it’s almost peachy, with spicey and earthy undertones that compliment the fruity aroma. On my little brother it is more cedar wood and citrus dominant. So this scent may not work with your chemistry all that well but you won’t know until you try.
Simply not my taste
I love smelling like a hippie, don't get me wrong, but with my perfume I want a certain j'ne ce qua, you know? Honestly I'm addicted to smelling expensive, and although it is nice in its own way, this one didn't do it for me.
amazing clean scent
Can certainly smell the cardamom. A sexy and intriguing scent.
This is reminiscent of a Tom Ford fragrance which can easily be used for male or female wearers. I loved the complexity and deep notes of this fragrance.
I really wanted to like this. I was so excited to get it. I tried it three different times and I hate it. to me it smells like citronella I just didn't like it at all
I shouldn't have picked this one, very prominent rose
Draws inspiration from 1969, so the fragrance has a "dusty" quality to it & the "dirty" patchouli that was closely associated with hippies. I don't mind either of those things, my issue is the rose. I don't normally like rose & this has lots of it. If I spray it from a distance it's okay. I like it more after it dries down but I'm still a bit disappointed with this one.
Doesn't stay long
Wasn’t sure at first smell...it was very powdery, but after dry down it is warm and spicy and very lovely with my body chemistry.
Best fragrance I’ve gotten yet!
Did not like the scent.
Way too classic for me
Nice scent. Doesn't last long on me though.
Nice combination of rose and a smooth spice
Honey, you are not my jam.
Clean Classic Fragrance and immediately took me back to that time and the distinguished attitudes of Men of that era!
Smells like Carmex or something to me

It was fantastic. And ladies loved it

This is a wonderful rose-patchouli blend. Instant love., perfect springtime scent Full bottle worthy!
I thought the scents would blend a lot smoother so when you first spray it, it’s a little abrasive. With time it does mellow out into a nice warm scent but it just wasn’t exactly what I was looking for.
I really wanted to love this but it is overwhelmingly strong. I've tried it 3-4 times and the patchouli is just too intense.
It smells like a lady.
Smell is not my style
An Unexpectedly Genius Scent
This scent pleases my husband and me both! It is unexpectedly bold and a vibrant scent that is not for the shy at heart. I’d recommend this as a date night scent for him or maybe an everyday scent for her. It’s a truly unisex scent that goes above and beyond expectations. Bring your A-game with this scent, and prepare to be noticed!
Not a cologne
Smells too much like a perfume that a an old lady wears... not a cologne!
Great Men's scent
because im a MALE i cant use it it smell to femalely
interesting combination of scents, very pleasant.
I will definitely consider purchase in the future.
Too Much Going On
I'm sure this fragrance smells lovely on some people, but I found it to be offensive. Sickeningly sweet with powder and musk overtones.
Unusual and lovely. Has a sweetness but also something else.
I know it is supposed to be a Fall fragrance but I cannot wait to wear it!! It smells just as it is described!

At first.... like insect repellent.....
It was too chemical smelling at first. It did, however, die down but at first sniff... yuck. So disappointed. I wanted this to be rich and earthy and more musk like.
too sweet and sugary
Smells like Dear John
This smells exactly like Dear John from Lush IMO. It’s great, but if you want a cheaper version of this try Dear John. It has a tea, shaving cream vibe. It smells so good.
so alluring, not heavy, like a summer picnic, easy to wear for a lot of occasions
A Blast From The Past
Reminds me of a cologne I used to get from a friend called King Chess. Man, that stuff was great. Can't get it now, but this came the closest of the few I've found that smelled similar. Never fails, either they sell out and the new owners mess up the formula, or they quit making it completely!
Frengrance too sharp and for a much older woman
Somedays, I found it just ok and other days, I didn't like it. It almost reminds me of candy but in a dusty, ancient way. It smells like old fashioned candy tastes. I appreciate unique scents but really didn't learn to love this one.
I recieve sio many compliments when I wear this scent
A bit too much rose
This is a nice fragrance, but the rose is a bit too strong for my taste. I think it’s supposed to be unisex but definitely has a feminine tilt. It’s also STRONG and projects quite well. Don’t smell a huge difference between top and drydown.
Flowery scent is really strong at first. But it dries down to a wonderful fruity peach scent.
Love the woodsy but sweet smell.

One of a kind boho beauty
Never been so completely hypnotized by a fragrance, the complexity of its embrace and its confident ease. Any hippie chick earth lovin soul sisters that love patchouli and complex forays like Gucci rush with find their soulmate here.
This smelled really citrusy
worth a sniff!
at first smell I was like woah. not sure about this. but second sniff I caught the clove and the hint of chocolate. the patchouli wasnt overwhelming. i got hints of whiskey. it's definitely going into heavy rotation. my only complaint? it fades pretty fast.

Histoires de Parfums
strong .... thats about all i can think when smell it is woo that's strong lol
Peachy Hippy Dippy
This smells lovely. It seems like a fresher approach to musky patchouli fragrances. The top notes are peach, clove, and patchouli. I was disappointed that this didn’t last long. The Amber by Histores is very long lasting.
Legit date night winner
This smells so luxurious and rich and sensuous. Layered, complex and intense. Definitely a hit for me.
I really wanted to love this...
I was excited to try this, and all the notes are ones I typically enjoy are present. At least in the described scent pyramid. All I get is PEACH. Jammy peach! The cardamom is there are well, but the peach is so overwhelming that after even having gone through 90% of my decant I struggle to get any other notes. Clove? Chocolate? Where are you at? It's pretty, sure, but is not for me. Turns too syrupy on my skin...
The Holidays--Apple Clove Cinnamon
For some reason this reminds me of the holidays. I smell a sweet clove. I smell the dark chocolate--it's almost like a spicy cinnamon dark chocolate. I smell a little bit of apple and cinnamon. It reminds me of just being home and relaxing. I'm not gonna lie--it's a little potpourri-ish, but in a positive and comforting kind of way. If you like crafting, shopping at Michael's, and celebrate "National Leon Day", this could/might be your thing.
Strong and Sweet
This perfume starts off very strong (for those of you who don't like patchouli, it really comes through, be warned). After a while it fades to a slightly softer very sweet smell, I definitely smell chocolate all day.

I liked the scent but not for me. This would work better on a classy woman
It’s worth a try.
Wow, this is a fascinating scent... curious and unlike anything I’ve ever owned. I just wish it lasted a little longer. There’s like this initial burst and then gone.

Nice, but not my thing
There is complexity here. But it hits me like roses with cedar. It's the kind of smell that made my nose itch and my husband shook his head and said I smell like the mall. But my 20yo daughter loved it.

For the adventurous
What it smells like: aveda hairspray with a lil spicy kick. How it smells: innovative, unique, creative. If perfume is an art to you and you want to smell like nobody else around this might be for you! Give it a try! I would call it an earthy oriental because of the patchouli and spice at the end. Hippie chic. If you like to wear essential oils and lean toward more natural scents you might enjoy this. Spritz responsibly my friends. Im still experimenting with it.
ah, too bad.
I love the description and notes, but it was not for me. Maybe I'm a sucker for a good pitch. I gave it away to my son, and he seems to like it so far.

Just Green rose. Not what I would expect from a house with this price point.

Nice clean scent that projects more than I realized.
It smells like smarties candy to me. I only used two spritzes (on my wrists and on my nape) and I could hardly smell it unless I bring my hands to my nose. But my SO says he can definitely smell it and said it reminds him of laundry detergent. It doesn't smell floral at all and I could probably get away with wearing it to the office.
I should have listened to the reviews this smells like a grandmothers perfume, or more like a big spray. Mostly bug spray not ordering again.

Not my cup but moms
I wasn’t a huge fan. It smelled fine, too much rose for me (I dislike this scent). My mother is obsessed though!!!!
Great! Just not for me!
Smelled okay at first but was a little much for me after about an hour. Very lasting scent! I just prefer something a little lighter or more “amber”. That being said, the scent really lasted for a long time and my husband liked it! Worth a try if you really like patchouli!

Sweet and spicy
This scent has a spicy beginning but smooths out to a sweet finish. Good lasting power.

The scent is unique with a noticeable hint of chocolate. It may not appeal to everybody but if you want to smell different from everybody else, this is it.
Better for him
Its def pachouli but I think the peach and chocolate work well with it. I can see how it could smell old lady/man-ish to some but it also smells kind of brisk, like a fall evening, with some spice, if you will... it’s unisex for sure. My boyfriend instantly noticed my new scent today and stole it, Iol. Neither of us like pachouli but we were intrigued by this. However, it just worked on him better than me.
Smells familiar.. don’t know what it could be. Really strong but not overwhelming
Not my Favorite
This fragrance has a really sweet tone to it. I don't think I will wear this.

The kind of perfume that you'd expect to smell as you wander through the stacks of a glorious old labyrinth of a bookshop, enticing and curious, draws you in and leaves you wanting more. Somewhat subtle and incredibly earthy, like a memory of a forgotten place.
55 to 64
An absolute new favorite.
Spicy, warm , rich and and very well balanced on my skin. The combination of feminine and masculine is lovely. Patchouli in just the right dose. I really don't get the " smells like old lady ", guess that must be the opposite of the selfie addicted, thinks conversation is done with your fingertips age group.

Took a chance; No regrets!
This perfume is very heady and lasts quite some time! It seemed to be missing something so I paired it with Gucci Guilty and it really Va-Voomed.

True to its name
When I first sprayed it I was hit with a sense of nostalgia. I was 5 years old playing with my aunts Avon perfumes. They were neatly lined up on her black, shiny vanity in her room with the white shag rug and red silk sheets. This fragrance smells just like that. Its spicy and fruity and when you first spray it you're transported back in time. I honestly don't like this scent as it is too spicy for my taste but I'll keep just to rekindle those memories from almost 3 decades ago.

I wanted to love this but it just isnt growing on me!

Very pungent and musky.
Strong and very musky
