Strong and yummy!!!!definitley to wear during my city night shananigans!!!
I really was not a fan of this perfume, reminded me of something my grandma would wear. Not at all a sexy scent, reminds me of baby powder kinda.
This perfume was a beautiful surprise!! It's now one of my favorites.
Nice scent just not for me! Semmed a little too mature for my style. Reminded me of a perfume my grandmother used to wear.
It feels spicy and matronly. Much too old for anyone on here. Great stay power though.
Awful awful perfume! If you're interested in smelling like a nursing home pick this out.
Way too strong and musky although faded after a few hours. Not too sweet more like peppery. Probably will not ever purchase.
I loved this. It works beautifully with my skin chemistry. One I would consider buying. It's a little musky, plus sweet, plus something I can't describe.
It's a better quality fragrance than some, and definitely has a spice quality, but also has a bit of "old lady" that I wasn't fond of. I preferred the Kenzo Jungle Elephant for an extremely similar scent.
I really disliked this scent, especially at first. It was way too old-lady smelling for my taste. After it dried down, it was a little better, but still not a fragrance that I would wear. I gave it to my Mom.
I really liked this, but I also like strong fragrances. It is not for the faint of heart.
Love this scent - it's warm and dark. Incense and patchouli are definitely noticeable, but I almost get a hint of ginger, too. I was surprised to read that others picked up musk - I got no musk from this scent at all. I did get a few compliments, though.
didn't like it smells to strong
Ingenues and sunshine shrouded pollyannas take heed, this perfume is not for you. L’Agent opens with an old Incense and Vetiver smell (odd given incense is not listed as a top note, nor is Vetiver listed at all, perhaps it’s the marriage of Angelica, Rosewood, and Pink Peppercorn). As it dries the Incense takes on a sweeter, creamier smell and mates with Amber to birth a heady, sensuous elixir, but a little later the undeniable sexual intoxication of Ylang ylang enters the mix, her shyer sisters, Jasmine and Tuberose (can they be called shy?), bloom in the background. Finally as L’Agent hits terminal dry down, Rock Rose (Labdanum) enters the party in a bold way with Sandalwood and Patchouli hiding under her cloak. L’Agent is a scene from a gothic novel set in a dark and smoky, candle lit church at midnight. The dark, brooding, and mysterious lord is about to wed the weeping virgin, but L’Agent stand up (and out) ( a twice widowed woman in the full bloom of womanhood, dressed in red and black, her face framed by a black mantilla with a ruby comb), and she protests the marriage, declaring that she is the one the lord truly loves and she has the scars to prove it. L’Agent is for the woman who isn’t afraid of the darkness or what dwells in it. Incredible, intoxicating perfume. A rare five stars for anyone dark and mysterious and daring enough to pull it off. Longevity and sillage are both well above average.
I was hoping for more "who's that sexy lady?" as opposed to "hey is grandma here?" Wow what a disappointment for my first scent. I should of looked at the reviews. Lesson learned.
this is literally THE WORST smelling perfume ever. I chocked after the first whiff of it! Smells terrible. ugh....ugh.
My first fragrance I wanted to try the Agent Provocateur line of fragrances. I didn't do enough research like reading reviews before I picked this. I hv to say this is the reason this site exist. If I had purchased this (full bottle) I would hv been disappointed. It reminds me of a lighter version of Estee Lauder Youth Dew. There is nothing that "captures" me. Its a cheap, boring not long lasting disappointment.
This scent reminds me of how a lot of the older church women smell on Sundays...needless to say I'm giving it to my mother
This was not a pleasant smell 5 people smelled it and only one liked it
I like it a lot! It's sexy and sultry. Great for romantic date night❤️
This perfume smelled very grandma-ish when I first put it on, but once it mixes with my skin turns into a musky insense kind of smell. Very nice for nighttime
Too musky, too strong and lingering
Not digging this one as much as I'd hoped to. It smells a little too mature..and not in a good way.
I like the list ofingredients, but I think this one smells totally chemically rather then natural.
This was a wonderful, and complex fragrance. It was perfect!
I want to like this, and I do, but don't love it. I like how it changes over time. When it is first sprayed it smells a lot like the Tom Ford Black Orchid I had last time. Kind of a strange herbal flower. Then it changes into an incensey vanilla to me. I like incense but not vanilla, so that is why I can't love this one. It doesn't seem to last super long on my skin for some reason, maybe half the day. But it lasts for days/ weeks on my scarf! If you like strong, not too sweet orientals and vanilla, this might be the one for you.
Very strong, kind of masculine, woody, sexy.
Very strong scent, very mature, didn't enjoy this fragrance at all
It's a little strong for me. But dies down ok
I didn't care for this scent. It is a bit to spicy for me. And once the smell was muted down it was still to spicy. It reminds me of a manly cologne. However I did like that the smell stayed with you all day unlike other perfumes
Scent was a little too masculine for me..smelled nice, for an older gentleman looking for some young companionship. I might date him, but not wear his cologne.
Very sexy, and deep fragrance! I really like the the scent just doesn't seem to be long lasting.
It is a pretty scent but too strong for me. Still glad I tried it.
Absolutely love this fragrance. I get compliments whenever I wear it. It is long lasting and just plain glorious!
It's ok but not a scent I would buy so glad I can try them
Very sexy. Long lasting. Love this scent.
This fragrance smells way too "mature" for me. I let other people smell it and everyone said that it reminded them of an old lady. I should have read the reviews before adding it to my queue.
Didn't care for this scent personally. Upon first spray it smelled very strong and very much like an "old lady" perfume. Eventually it dried and calmed down however the lingering scent that remained was quite masculine, almost like a cheap old man cologne like Stetson. Not a young person scent at all.
I didn't read the reviews until after I had been locked into this scent. I wish I had. I decided I'd give it a try anyway. After all, that's why Scentbird exists! It is definitely not for me. At first, it was so strong, it made me gag. The scent has mellowed out over the last couple of hours, but it is still not for me. It's really not that bad, but I think it's the patchouli or incense that is turning me off to this scent. I may wear it sporadically, especially on cold winter nights. It makes me think of cold, winter nights. It definitely isn't a springtime, day perfume. This perfume certainly won't be in heavy rotation for me.
It's a little strong and musky. And it does remind me of an old lady perfume
Smells like a cheap drugstore perfume for an older woman. Overall, a synthetic cheap musk.
Very strong, almost incense like smell, with a strong floral scent. Not for me.
Love this scent! LOVE IT! It was rich and woodsy. You smell more of the woodsy scent when you first apply it. After a few moments it develops into a a beautiful mellow scent with amazing undertones. This might be my new favorite.
A bit more masculine than I prefer
Very strong, but quite appealing in very small applications. I just have to be gentle.
This was perfect for me. I'm glad to have discovered it. I love Oriental-type scents and this fits the bill. While it has a little bit of a floral quality to it, it's not a "floral" scent. I especially love the musky/spicy base notes.
I really wanted to love this fragrance, but turns out I don't:( To me it kinda smells like an old lady scent:(
I didn't love it... It could just be my chemistry isn't compatible with this fragrance.
Wow my new favorite perfume!!!! I am a pretty staunch Burberry fan however this scent blew me away. This is exactly the kind of fragrance that I was looking for for my winter rotation! Very sexy and exotic smell and my SO LOVES it
Hey Sam. I never would've tried not trying to Sanford! Looking to get this in a big bottle for Christmas :-)
Love, love, love this fragrance. I wear it quite often to work! I also have Agent Provocateur and love it as well. Just can't go wrong with this line of perfume!
I was hoping that this strong perfume would go well with my body chemistry. It does not. It smells like a perfume for someone much older. It does smell nice on my mom, so I am giving it to her. It was very strong and slightly peppery.
this one was a little strong but it was very warm and my chemistry brought out lily notes when worn.
A refreshing Ainge from my prior perfumes. I love the scent of love the smell I love the warm notes to come out towards the end. My only question is, where do I buy a full bottle of this wonderful hybrid!perfume? All in all a wonderful buy for my first time thank you sce
I love the scent combination, but it is very, very strong. I can't really spray it; I need to touch the pump slightly to get the tiniest amount to use on my wrists.
way to strong of a scent for me.
I like this scent. Very up my ally. It is strong though so you don't need a lot. If you like those spicy heavy scents then this is a good one.
One of my first thoughts when smelling is "old lady". I associate this type of smell with my elderly aunts and their perfumed powders. I don't hate it, but it is not for me.
Much too strong for my taste. I ended up giving it to my sister and she loves it. She prefers the oriental/spicy scents so this is right up her alley.
Not super fond of it. I mean, I don't absolutely hate it, but I don't particularly like it much, either.
This was okay, just not for me. It is very musky and heavy. I might be able to wear a tiny bit for a big date night in the middle of winter, but really, I think that's it. Also, on me, the longer I wear it, the stronger it seems to get. This is in direct opposition to every other perfume I've ever worn - usually they just do not linger in my skin for some reason. I actually had to wash this one off because I got a headache. I passed it on to a friend who loves it, and whose body chemistry doesn't seem to do strange things with it.
This perfume is not for me. The incense in it is too overpowering.
I really love this one especially after I have it on for a few hours. Will have to get a bottle. Very strong so if you don't like strong this one ain't for you.
Oh holy cow this is really strong. One spritz and I smelled it all day. I couldn't even get it off with soap and water.
Meh. Smells like an expensive version of Camp Beverley Hills from the '80s. Pass.
Didn't like this at all the first spray...but it's really starting to grow on me.
I tried very hard to love this one. The profile matches everything I usually like in a scent. The opening is gorgeous and the dry down is a wonderful, woody, spicy skin scent, but the middle, which lasts about 3 hours is an overwhelming patchouli on me, which I can't stand. I tried it several times, but no joy.
"Smells like Obsession for men & Old Spice mixed with an overpowering choking powder smell. Makes me think "old lady". I was so excited to get my 1st scentbird fragrance but, 1 spray & very disappointed! Can't wait for the 2nd 1, I'm familiar with the next fragrance in my queue so I know it'll be good."
"I think another reviewer said it best when she compared it to an 80's perfume. That is exactly what it smells like. A strong, spicy, 80's perfume. Not for me!"
"I am adoring this perfume. Starts floral and a little spicy, mellows a bit with woods, incense, and amber. It is definitely a sexy evening perfume, but it's not so overwhelming that I can't get away with it during the day. Maybe not in the summer though! I have a feeling it'll be way too sultry for day use then."
"I love strong perfumes, but this one is a little too strong for me. It's very musky."
"except it has just a bit of a synthetic note - reminiscent of the 80's strong scents. It lasts long and the dry down does get softer and is very nice, sexy."
