After the lavishness of the 80s, restraint seemed like a refreshing response.

The same can be said of the most popular perfumes during the \u201890s. Fresh and clean compositions were crowd favorites; they were centering, grounded, sexy even. Many were unisex, like a good pair of boyfriend jeans. Many were, and still are, relevant to this day<\/a>.
